Yes, that's what I was saying, getting over a ton of explosives in Europe is incredibly difficult. There's been hundred if not thousands caught trying to do it and locked up. It slips through incredibly rarely. Driving a truck into people is something that intelligence can't really stop.

No I realise that the threat from these fanatics is real but reading a lot of comments here at the moment and from the past a significant number cannot seem to separate the fanatics from the majority of people who are trying to live their lives peacefully with their families.

Actually lot of Kurds are abandoning Islam altogether and going back to Zoroastrianism. Basically the Kurds adopted Islam in the first place because they didn't want to be murdered and raped into extinction.

I've no idea how to deal with radical Islam. I think it's going to take a lot of time.

But people here need to cop on and realise that this is not about Islam.

If the world had treated South America in the same manner for the last 100 years, it's guaranteed we'd all be talking about radical Catholicism.

It's not even that hard to understand.

They are Muslims. Just because the KKK targeted another Christian group it didn't stop them being Christians. Islam is split into many groups, some dangerous (ISIS) some not dangerous (those guys that begin with A, cant remember the full name).

I just might is a bit different from "I will fight" and all this we bull****, if you feel strongly enough about this then get off your ass and go and do something about it.

We need to find a solution to this alright, but we don't need to go ahead and lose our humanity to do it.

Extremism of any form is destructive, fundamentalism of any form is dangerous, segregation is not the answer. You think all they want to do is kill non muslims, conquer, instill Sharia law everywhere, grand. Sending them all off to their own countries together, closing borders and ensuring total segregation (not possible anyway obviously) doesn't seem very bright to me in that case.

They get to plot and develop weapons, weapons that they do not need to be in your country to do you harm with.

A missile from North Africa carrying Nuclear material can hit Ireland no problem, don't need any Muslims in the country to make that happen, send them off to grow their military unhindered and get an air force, a naval force to attack their enemies with, how big of a wall you think you need to build to protect yourself really?

Education, integration and the nominal Muslim population, together with the moderate, progressive Muslim population are all crucial factors to ending this Global Jihad, there is certainly one in progress, has been for many, many years now and with better weapons, better technologies, further division will not be a solution.

Either bite the bullet and abandon the moral compass altogether, shed the remnants of humanity that remain and turn the Middle East into a depopulated, flattened, car park. Wiping Saudi off the map for starters, or forget the thought that building barriers between Muslims and everybody else is the way to go.

Total annihilation of Muslims doesn't seem plausible though, and whatever is left will certainly be radical as ****, though might buy us a few years without attack while they get to a place where they have rebuilt sufficiently to begin attacks again.

Sorry for the rant.
