Satellite Version.

Getting rid of my box as I don't use the satellite tuner. Will sell at cost price of group buy, if interesteed pm me.

Thanks as usual for your help with the box, if it wasn't for your guide maybe most of us wouldn't have the box configure properly. :cool:

Can it be upgraded from the box or will we need to start from zero by downloading the new image? Do you know if we can back-up and reload the configuration from 5.1 to reload to 5.3?

I must pickup a couple of extra sd cards so I can have a play with different images. Has anyone tried the Sky Q skin?

I just started from scratch again as was using an image from back in Feb.. some people seem to have done an online update without issues (backup your current IMG before regardless) but only took me about 10 mins to get up and running again..

There is a backup option in the system setup section which can be used but have never bothered with testing it too much..

Simple. I believe that MNIGMA is a PBNIGMA fork, so the libs are the same. Last experimental MNIGMA has Kodi 16.1 so i just copied those folders to PBNIGMA:

/usr/bin/kodi (bin)
/usr/bin/kodi-standalone (bin)
/usr/lib/kodi (Folder)
/usr/share/kodi (Folder)

Then you have to rename on PBNIGMA: /usr/local/bin/kodi and /usr/local/bin/kodi-standalone to something else and make a simbolic link to /usr/bin/kodi and /usr/bin/kodi-standalone

Hi Guys, I'm hoping ye can help me out. I'm recently after buying a OpenElec Wetek dreambox from a guy on Donedeal who obviously resells them. We have two in the house & one of the two is giving an issue. His phone appears to be off & facebook page is now offline for over a month or so.

I'm very new to all of this so I don't really know to much about it.

Firstly noticed we were missing All our Sky Movies and now We have only about 60/70 channels & all are saying there is no information available & we get no TV images.

So I done some digging on Google & Youtube and have tried a few videos.

I've opened HTS Tv Headend on the browser and can see the "Sky" connection.

I can't post images / links as I'm to new a user.

In the Log I'm getting this:

When I go to the Status Page of the Add on I can see the SNR & Signal are Zero.

I'm hoping this is making sense to you guys - I followed the steps of the video on Youtube titled: WeTek Play - How to install tvheadend and scan Satellite DVB-S/S2 channels


I would really appreciate any help as I've nobody to ring for assistance and the family are wrecking my head :L:L:L

No All RTE and Everything is missing now. We are getting SKY and the first channel on the list is 115 BBC & so on but again, it says no information available & no picture ever comes through when you click any channel.

You see I don't think it's to do with the connection because I have another box in the other room connected to the dish and that is not giving any issues at all.

It was working perfectly up until recently but now it's not working at all anymore.

If you are not getting picture on BBC and channel 4 then you more than likely have a connection issue somewhere. The dish itself may be aligned right as evidenced by the other box working, the 2 boxes though will have separate cables running to the dish so double check the connections on the back of the box and where the cable joins the dish... worth also following cable to see if something has cut or broke it (true story a dog of ours chewed through our one when he was a pup)

Have you tried swapping the boxes between rooms to rule out a connection issue?

I had a similar issue with mine, turned out to be in the tuner config settings. On the box go to main menu - setup - service searching - tuner config. Check both A and B are setup correctly. You can try " mirror " any settings from the box that is working.

I'm getting the requested topic does not exist. Be careful with the line details stuff, they don't allow it on kodi forum as far as I remember.

Must be because I'm using my phone. Fair play to you anyway for the guided, sure they are brilliant for people just starting out.
