As the young kids would say ...er...wut?

Why is there a Megane coupe in the middle of that list? Lol

Haha I know what you mean!! I sold the Lancer and had no car, needed one desperately for work so picked that up cheap off a garage in Dublin at the time.

Maybe it's just the angle? But them alloys look a bit lost on the Audi.

    How bout from here...

18" BBS alloys on 245/40/R18 .. to be honest I'm not sure whether to stick with them though. They're nice but the ride is noticeably harder on our crappy roads!

There were nostalgic pics we had way earlier in the thread, go for it :)

All right then! Now I dont have all pics but two cars in particular stood out. One was a 96 Opel astra saloon. I sorta... Made an off roader out of it. Estate springs and shock extensions in the rear. 2.0 Vectra A springs and shock inserts in the front and it got about 3" lift. I also managed to put a set of 205/75/15 tyres on vectra diamond alloys. Installed a 1.4 8v multi point engine and ecu that I did up a little bit.
And a fat exhaust:o. Finally i put four rally giants on the front. Had planned for a roof cage, snorkel and a boot mounted spare on the saloon but sadly wrote it off. It remains to this day my favourite car and I have no pictures:(:(.
However, about two months later i got a 94 Astra estate and salvaging what i could from the other car. Did the same:D

Not the most flattering angle I guess!
    How about this?

    1352047328-picsay_zps4aa6ee81.jpg
The wheels were not salvageable so got some steelies and hammerite. Nor was the engine.
    DSC_0241_zps100a1118.jpg
Last mod was before the 2nd "cold" winter. These old cars run cold and a new thermostat didnt help.
    DSC_0074-picsay_zps7e2cca38.jpg
But that did! -12 at 05:30 one morning when me and a mat headed to cork airport to pick someone up and we were toasting inside it:D
It did a lot of this:D

*Green astra on trailer was not mine.*
    And this!

Yep, the forestry mudflaps found their way onto it eventually.

Sorry for double post. I bought the Celica cheap as it had a few problems (mainly suspension) and I still had the megane be at the same time so flogged the Celica while I could then bought the GP which I love :)

And the exhaust tip is screaming for a good clean and polish!

Looks really really well though, How are you finding it so far?

While I appreciate a good clean car I'm far too lazy for the whole detailing buzz.

Really happy with it, as I said before it's very tight. Thought I would be disappointed with the power but I actually like it. :)

While I prefer the pressed plate german fonts on BMWs, I think these ones suit it too
