    True, as is Viper :D

Yup :D is a bit strange changing to diesel alright, it's funny though as the RX8 has very little torque the 535 has mountains of it so very different to drive, and all the power is at much lower revs - the bimmer goes up to about 4500/5000 rmp till it red lines, it's a good compromise though great MPG, lots of power and it's a very comfortable place to be on the longer journies (which I've had a lot of this year). I do miss how the RX8 goes around corners though, still one of the best handling cars I've driven. Ah well :) untill I get rich and can afford something like an M5 I think I'll stick with this one for a bit.

That's why I went with a 335i, petrol, loads of power and handles better than the RX8 :D

    Shes a stunner MM! :D

Are you still loving it? Anything you don't like about it?

Yer, I was considering the 35i engine but have to do lots of big milage so diesel was the way to go, considering an eibach pro kit now or something, get rid of some of the corner roll. In saying that it's absolutly fine for line 99.9% of the driving I would do lol.

I'm still loving it very very much! The one thing I don't like is the wastegate rattle which drives me mad! apart from that it's an immense pleasure to drive!

How did you manage that milage in the 8? :P

I don't particularly see how buying a brand new car is a sign of the recession? For the mileage my Mom and I were doing on the 1.2 Clio it was not worth staying petrol.

According to the computers on both cars, the Clio was doing 10l/100 in average whereas with the Fluence its already doing 6.5l/100. Worth it imo. The Fluence also couldn't be beaten on spec in the same price range with Bluetooth, One touch windows all round, Cruise Control, Keyless Entry/Start and while not part of the spec per say it also came with a 5 year unlimited mileage warranty. Hard to beat that from competitors such as the Octavia/Focus/Golf/Leon.

Hauld on, no they didn't. They had shares in Mazda, nothing more, nothing less and if Matt Simis (or anyone else for that matter) comes along with a fvcken pie chart or graph detailing these shares, I'll go absolutely apesh!t!!

Let me help you out there :)
    infographics,car,chart,diagram,economy,industry-30f1c7a00c4a0b7811474632cf0ebd8a_h.jpg

Out of date though as they no longer have 33% stake, just 3%.

    LOL :D

    You're a right lad!

Ford had to sell off 30% of their shares when they were in trouble a few years ago. I think it was around the time the designs for the new Fiesta (at the time called the Verve) came out. They didn't have enough money to rename it The Verve so they stuck with Fiesta.

I want to get some recent pics of my yoke on here.

after I get the damage repaired that is.

but I'm looking for good locations to take pictures.

e.g I know a lad of facebook who has a picture of his car on Henry street with the spire behind it and Christmas lights and stuff

or the one I saw here with your man under the crane in the docks.

any good places or blizzare places or scenic places to take pictures of cars with goof reflections etc. ?

    thanks all.

never seen it before 166man, but it looks very clean, a fine "alternative"choice for a young lad these days aka not a diesel golf.

Part of me misses my 156 a bit. Completely impractical for the mileage I do (did 70k miles in less than 3 years in it) and the maintainence costs nearly bankrupted me ( no faults bar a small oil leak) but it had bags of character and handled fantastically for a FWD car.

It's fairly clean but has a few marks as to be expected. Engine is sound out though. A fine cheaper alternative to a diesel Golf.... It's worth about €1k...:D

Camaro SS. I've had it for two years now but, 21,000km later, I can honestly say I am not even starting to think about getting bored with it. 400bhp out of the box, but I'll wait until the warranty expires before adding a turbo or two.

our family car is a Volvo XC60 with the T6 which, I must add, is a fantastic machine and frighteningly fast with the Polestar upgrade, 325hp and it doesn't feel heavy at all. It feels quicker off the mark than the Camaro.
The runaround car is a 07 Chevy HHR which, for non North-Americans, is an Opel Astra with an odd estate car body that is not worth posting a picture of.

designed by the same guy who did the pt cruiser, in fact - but
it always reminds me of a Morris Minor for some reason
