That S2k set you back much?

No , I bought it reasonable enough to be honest . Bought as a toy , have a daily dungbox in the form of a 98 Nissan Primera so can have my fun with this at weekends etc :)

Needs a few bob spent to get cosmetics 100% where I want , but it drives fantastic and none of the usual issues with them are present :)

I passed this car going the opposite way in Claregalway this morning. Recognised it immediately from this thread. It looked in great condition :)

Lads, please do not quote photos. it's in the Title of the thread and it's very, very annoying.

high horse banned for 24 hours as per rules.

I really don't like that kit on the S2K. No offence, it's a fine car.

    Just brought this home.

    day1.jpg

1100 sheets. 147k miles. Belt done 99k. Amazed at how well it drives. Engine is sweet. Everything works. Leccy seats, A/C, CD changer.

    Can't go wrong.

edit: I also think it looks quite good.

    None taken chap :)

It's not something I fancied when I bought the car , has grown on me since to be honest . A few people who've seen the car in pictures first then in reality have had different views after actually seeing it.

Regardless of that it won't be changed anytime soon anyway , when finances allow a wheel change is first on the cards , then drop it a bit probably .

Will see then what way things are when deciding about kit etc .

Ah, 406. I am still kicking myself for selling my 406 :(. It was as reliable as a tank!

The best thing about it: no noise in cabin.

    It's bloody amazing !!

Cleaned up well too. My brother has put 170 miles on it and the needle is well over 3/4 still

It has come with the standard free leak but it's not losing much and the bro says it's coming from a hose so might be an easy one.

What engine is it? My one was 1.8 and it was very very economical. I heard hdi engines are briliant too.

Just thought it'd make a good picture on the rocker cover, I'll more than likely be turning it into a track car eventually
