    Buffy was and still is a show that went against the grain of typical TV story telling. It avoided many cliches and played around with them where possible. Joss Weaton is the 3rd genration of script writers and seems to have truely brought it to a new level. I get not liking the show but overrated is a little harsh and as it won so few awards it can't really be said to be overrated IMHO.

    Blackadder and South Park can't be really underated as they went on for so long and are generally quoted like the Simpsons and Monty Python. If anything they could be overrated.
