I've fond memories of dame lane, scored 2 doves one night and just as i was handed them the old bill were straight over but managed to drop swallow them, they search i got was un natural, but after 20 mins they let me go cos they could prove nothin:D, needless to say that was a stomper of a night in sides dc:pac:

Used to party with the guys from Dundrum/Ballinteer Centre of the Balcony up over the doors in the Olympic ,then Sides and the Asylum.

That was were a load of us from Tallaght used to be, beside all those from Dundrum/Ballinteer. I knew most of them and still actually see a couple from time to time. Any names? Wouldn't be surprised if we have crossed paths.

Didi u know Gary Tyrell, Raggy and there was another one from Oldbawn. They went to Olympic and Asylum, dont know about Sides. I knew a few from Jobstown aswell but can't think of any names. One fella was thin, we all were, with glasses. I was only in Sides the once, I was too dedicated to Olympic and Asylum. Bouncers really turned me off, but I know it was a good spot, ud kill for it today.

If any of youse remember the Olympic you will remember people going around with soothers in their mouths so as not to break your teeth, (one night in the Asylum I did break half of a back tooth:eek:)and the eyes rolling in the back of the head and the whack of Olbais oil through out the place. And the odd person with the dust mask full of vicks:D:D
And the head bangers with the air horns letting them off over the balcony to a screaming crowd down below:D:D

I use to know, Robbie the beast , Morty , Morgan, Paul kernan,
from tallaght,
any time we were up in Tallaght at a party , there was a DJ from Ringsend there , not sure of his name,
small black haired guy, Billy from Abbey Discs use to know him,
He was f**king Brill....

My teeth are worn down by grinding them, when I was mad out of it,
A lot of my mates teeth are chiped from the old "e"...

Know one of them names alright. They started in the Olympic towards the tail end.

It's in Tallaght, in the moutains,
I can draw a map to field, where you can pick them,
I can tell you what to look for,
the brown nipple type mushrooms
the only problem is you have to wait till October,
thats when they come into season...
