The Daleks are still the evil ones! Along with plenty of others too. Into the 5th new series now. On topic, lovely sound from the Spitfire.

The 3rd picture in the previous thread didnt come out right, but its a early 70s Mercedes E Class with original irish regd. Its the predecessor of the W123.
The Escort I think is definitely an original irish regd too although the picture is blurred....:(

In all honesty though can you blame people for trying it on, for starters the road tax is totally off the wall for anything over three litres, the you have the Revenue shafting you at every available opportunity when it comes to VRT, then you have VAT and taxes on tyres, petrol, etc, etc. I finally managed to sell my house for half it's worth last week and packing my bags to leave this place AGAIN..... I don't know how anyone can afford to live here anymore.

Saw one of these about 10min ago on the CLontarf Road. Probably the rarest car I have ever seen. Alfa RZ only 120 or so ever made. UK Mainland Reg.

Alfa_Romeo_RZ.jpg No pic unfortunately. Probably over for Alfa at 50 in Mondello tomorrow.

True enough alright, but dont try and pass off a late 80s/early 90s jag as a 72 model.

Yes, Asquith Shire delivery van (Ford Transit based).

Bigger brother of the Asquith Shetland van (Reliant Fox based).

Thought as much, theres many different versions around. Any idea how these were built,as the transit hasnt really got a seperate chassis,at least not up front? Or was it their own chassis, just using the transit engine, front suspension and axles? Iv never had a close up look at one.

No idea, never looked at them close enough. I know more about the Shetland version, but that not saying I know much more about them either!
