Not much, I would say it is similar to here were there would be a combination of artificial surfaces, clay and hard courts as they can be played on all year round, grass can only be played on from say April/May to September/October and that is dependent on the type of summer that they get. If it's a wet summer then there will be very little play on grass. Also there is the expense to clubs to maintain grass courts compared to the other surfaces.

Have to say I am loving watching "Access All England" on the Wimbledon site. Great seeing behind the scenes especially the players on the practice courts both the indoor and outdoor ones.

Shelton came back and served out in just 1 minute. Mad decision to suspended last night

Norrie v Bellucci is an interesting one. Norrie improved after a very dodgy start.

Bellucci is a lot of fun to watch!

    Norrie edges tiebreak 7-5

Norrie now two sets up v Bellucci, very solid.

Norrie serving for the match and is broken....still up a break...

Jarry or Fonseca next - winnable.

Norrie breaks to take the match.

    7-6, 6-4, 6-3

Well deserved, solid as usual rather than spectacular but battles extremely well.

Is there any way to stop Andrew Castle talking gibberish? He ruins the game with his annoying, pointless talking. I turn volume down but like the sound of the ball being hit.

Encouraging start for Raducanu. She is handling Sabalenkas power game. Hope she can keep it up.

It’s not the starting that’s the worry it’s keeping that start up that’s the issue.

    Raducanu leads 4-2.

Excellent start I was so impressed with her in the last match against Vondrousova and brought it into this match so far! Let's see if she can keep it up.

Andddd she can't and is broken

Ahh she needed to hold that game to keep the pressure on Sabalenka

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,162 ✭✭✭Floppybits

And just like that Sabalenka takes charge.

Good game, Raducanu is well able for Sabalenka. Fingers crossed that Raducanu doesn't get injured.

What a huge game that was for Raducanu

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,978 ✭✭✭✭gmisk

Gutsy from Raducanu saved 8 or 7?! set points! And holds 5-5

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 816 ✭✭✭klr87

Raducanu saves 7 set points in that one game. That's drama for you.

    Grass burn.
