    When someone is an adult their parent don't owe them anything the parent might choose to help in some way but that's it, so expecting to build in the garden or to park a van in a bit of ground the parents have is not an entitlement.

    Are their really adult children who think they can live in their parents home with out paying / contributing and the parent 'love it'?

    I havet a clue what the solution is I don't think anyone knows the solution.

    By the way you don't fall off the edge of the world when you move out of Dublin or any urban area in Ireland.
