For the topic we can conclude sometimes a broken leg is very very painful (sometimes bones stocking out etc) ; other times it is not so painful ( person able to walk / drive). Sometimes €10,000 or even less can be usual or fair compensation, other times the compensation can be much more.

It is noted it also happened on the stairs in Leinster House. We all saw Joe Biden descending stairs in Leinster house last year when he visited and we are fortunate poor Joe did not suffer a serious fall , given his age and his history of falls ( he fell on a stage in USA last year and slipped coming down the steps of Air Force One etc ).

It happened on a stairs in LH we don’t know which one.

Other than that OP has been dealt with.

US president Joe Biden “wilfully” retained and disclosed highly classified materials when he was a private citizen, including documents about military and foreign policy in Afghanistan and other sensitive national security matters, according to a US Justice Department report.

Maybe a little fall would be appreciated by the US people.

Just the latest in a long line of people who expect a payout for their own stupidity.

It seems 10k is what a MP think she should get because she was embarrassed.

Sinn Fein supporters will defend, if it was another party they would be losing the plot over it. They have no credibility

    Defend what Clo?

She didn't tell any lies about not being able to run and then get photographed running a personal best or play a football match while claiming for whiplash.

    What did M.G. do wrong?

Funny the way every one who gets injured now is wrong now because a few sanctimonious government TD's got caught out.

That's really worth losing the plot over.
