He didn't mention my suggestion that even repeats of Joe Duffy on Liveline would have been a better option than what we got 😉.

I think he started reading it out and then stopped abruptly 🤣.

Cathal was off as he needed to be with his family. Possibly an issue with his new baby as it was very sudden. He just said one night that he couldn't be in for a while.

Why he wasn't replaced, nobody seems to know.

Cathal is back next week.

I like JK and its great to hear a familiar RTE voice on the radio from our youth, though his artists choices can be predictable currently playing Mink DeVille / Willy DeVille, guaranteed he will play Mick Jones or Joe Strummer soon.
