    Only one so far.

    Suede and The Manics.

Both bands I loved when I was a teenager/early 20's. Haven't been to a Manics gig in 20 years, but I've been to see Suede a good few times since they got back together.

It's one of the great certainties of life - Suede will put on a phenomenal show. Anderson is one of the great performers. It helps that the new albums they've released in the past decade have some absolute belters on them.

Lacking a bit on the Springsteen front, Woody. Otherwise nice.

    Judas Priest/ Saxon/ Uriah Heep (3ARENA) - March

Slash feat. Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators (3ARENA) - March

The World of Hans Zimmer (3ARENA) - April

Sting/ Blondie (Musgrave Park) - June

    Rammstein (RDS) - June

    Epica (AFAS Live) - September

    Delain (The Academy) - November

And AC/DC whenever they announce it.

I would of liked to see Pink but I love my Battlefield tours so couldn't justify another concert in Dublin.

Can add David Gray in Whelans on the 1st Feb to the list

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,899 ✭✭✭paulbok

Night & Day Festival - up the road in Boyle, end of June. Haven't been to a festival since the kids came along. Hoping to bring them for a few hours on the Sunday.

Suede & Manics in Trinity, a few days later. Love seeing Suede, alway a brilliant gig.

Nothing else definite but waiting on confirmation of Hybrid playing in London mid September, 25th anniversary gig for their first album Wide Angle. Rumour is they will have an orchestra and all.

Some brilliant acts coming here next year I'd love to go to, but that's the trade off in having left Dublin. Have to be selective in who I go to. Most of my friends have moved out of Dublin too, so with hotel prices, any concert becomes very expensive.

I added the Killers to my list for 2024. I must be the only person in the country that hasn't seen them at this stage.
