If I don't accept the EOI will I be removed from the panel? I passed in July 2024.

    Thanks

im a bit confused about my panel position if anyone can help?

After the last expression of interest date had passed I emailed support and was advised my overall panel number is 117.

Would this number be the panel number after all expressions of interest were filled or does the panel number only change after they have been given contracts?

Be great to know if I’m still 117 or am I 117 minus the last intake.

    I hope I’m making sense ;D

As far as I am aware that is your current overall panel number, that would change than when the places are filled.

If you read the end of the email it says it doesn't effect your panel placing.

Can I just ask how do the panel numbers form? Were you given one after you went through all stages of the recruitment process? Or is there still parts for you to go through? As in, if you express interest now are you guaranteed to have a place on a course now or is there still things for yous to go through? I'm waiting to begin the application process when it's launched so just wondering how it works. Would new people applying be looking at a few years wait for a course if they pass all aspects of the recruitment process?

So every recruitment campaign is a supplementary campaign to top up the existing panels. So say for example you go through all the process have your interview in January 2026 and pass and get number 30 on the panel. That would be number 30 on the jan2026 supplementary panel. But there are still people from previous recruitment panels waiting. Eg if there are 100 from existing then your overall number would be 130.

But the only way to find out overall is emailing them. There are loads of factors your number could change I.e people not ready, vetting and the worst being a panel expiring.

I hope I've shed some light for you

unless 30 odd people were dormant and decided to make themselves active. I sent off an email to query it

Does anyone know how to find their current panel number. I emailed applysupport but they told me to email panelmanagement@hse.ie which does not seem to be active. Emails keep getting bounced back

The only way to be dormant is not have a b driving I think. Or maybe somes failed and they were given a 2nd chance
