Think you will still end up in the queue, even with the link (& may risk getting knocked out of your place)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,429 ✭✭✭fourmations

dont refresh whatever you do, stick with it!!, i was in on my phone and refreshed by mistake and went back to 18000th in the queue!!!

Yep, i'd stayed there in previous years but the cost increases made it just daft, I was utterly f**ked monday and tuesday so the cost becomes near worth it (near, not fully, the dildo of price gouging never arrives lubed!).

sent, but be careful, i can't guarantee it will work!! dont mess up your own place in the queue in case, can you get someone else to load it or do it on a different device maybe, the risk is all yours!! ;)

Just on the link you're currently using have it saved by emailing it to you using the feature on the bottom of the page.

Open these separately on different browsers i.e google and Mozilla/brave/edge etc.

Hope it's Harry styles that's the poppy headliner. Songs are decent.

I hope the poppy head isn't Dua Lipa.

Hope the rock/alt head is of course R word, doubt it of course, hope it's not the Foos. Would be happy with Chilli peppers/Depeche mode

    Dance head Justice/David Guetta

Harry just finished a 2 year tour. Extremely unlikely to be touring next year. Also he sold 80,000 on his own at €100 plus which netted him over €2m as per Irish papers. Hardly going to pop over to EP for a very reduced pay day.

dua lipa is honestly a good bet. New album due next year.

We will have a wicker man ready for Guetta

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,929 ✭✭✭rubick

If Guetta plays EP before Carl Cox it will be a travesty. Coxy likely a lot cheaper too.

BTW folks are still getting Pink Moon tents as of 5 mins ago on the Banter Page.

This is who they're predicting for the dance act for Coachella. To be fair he fits the bill for the younger heads.

    Not my thing of course

Hozier,Picture this, RHCP and Dua Lipa make sense to me.

foo fighters have announced June 2024 dates in uk/europe. So honestly think they will be a Marley park concert around then rather than EP bound.

by Christmas it will be much clearer as some European festivals will announce initial headliners.

if Radiohead do shows next year would expect it to be malahide headline show.

Finally got Pink Moon, queuing since just after 9am, got 2 person tent 5 minutes ago for €315, surprised as they weren't in the initial offering and only 10 quid more than what seems to be the same tent for 2023.

Seemed to be a few other options still not sold out.

Be very surprised not to see Chemical Brothers there next year. Laurent Garnier would be a welcome return. They don’t need to pay stupid money for Guetta, or any of that EDM genre, I think that would be the final nail in the “boutique” coffin.

I'd put money on CMAT back again on a much larger stage with new album and 3 instant sold out shows in Olympia.

Ah stop, Fanirish. Hozier, Picture This, RHCP and Dua Lipa? Come on, now. Everyone's trying to be positive here. We'll have loads of time later for the doomsday ****. Do NOT start quoting their Spotify streams at me.

i've no issues with Dua Lipa, great disco grooves, funky basslines, plenty of good vibe bangers, far better than a lot of the pop music doing the rounds,

we cant expect a full bill of chin-stroking! 😉

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,468 ✭✭✭Stillill42

The cheek. Are you calling me a chin stroker, fourmations? Go on so, I'll give you Dua Lipa.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,429 ✭✭✭fourmations

😂 go on outta that, you love a bit of free-form jazz fusion!! 😉

What's the story with the Eco camping area. Seen it mentioned and think I passed it on my only other EP adventure but how do you get in there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 869 ✭✭✭BullBauld

There's several who are familiar here but my understanding is follow them on facebook to know when they'll release the application and then I think they use eventbrite to gather the names. Won't be till next year I believe though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 215 ✭✭blueberrypie

Follow them on Facebook, around March they open the list on event brite. Everyone in your party has to register separately. When fully subscribed they offer a wait list. I know people who have stayed there, be prepared to be lectured on how to use the bins properly. (To be honest I think they were spotted putting something into the wrong bin). On the day you rock up, first come first served in terms of picking your spot to camp. They had an overflow section in 2022. No overflow section in 2023.

Surely not Guetta, surely they can do better lads, think that'd be my nightmare, personal opinion, up there with Calvin Harris (who I unfortunately seen briefly at a festival recently).

Also been to RHCP in the 3Arena a good few years back and one of the most boring bands I've ever seen, everyone who goes to them usually says the same, it's a real shame as was really looking forward to it, and the reviews from their most recent Marlay Park gig weren't any better. I would prefer Foo Fighters, could do a package with R&L and a few others.

If they have to have an Irish headliner I hope Hozier, he was great at EP eventhough not my usual cup of tea. I do wonder would it be the thinkg U2 would do some year, probably not due to having to take a reduced fee but would be legendary. Please not Picture This. Also somehow ended up at Dua Lipa and wasn't that bad when she played Electric Picnic last, although I had a lot of beers before.

Foo fighters would fit the requirement of a big act pretty well in fairness.

Chances of picking up a campervan ticket at a later date or have I missed the boat?
