    Race direction has been utter thrash the last couple of years. They need to get someone competent in. Unsurprising to hear the utter incredulousness from all the drivers on the radio after such a nonsensical unjustifiable call.

    Pérez and Gasly have brand new softs in the top 10. No one else does by my reckoning. Shouldn't make too much of a difference over 3 laps anyway.

    I think if Hamilton/Alonso is going to win this, both of them need to pass Max at the start. If Max is in second after turn one he’ll find his way back I reckon.

    By the time the cars are bunched up and it's safe enough to send out Marshalls to collect the shredded tyre there wouldn't be enough laps to restart and they have to finish behind safety car.
