    Great quali!

Max really had to work for it but nailed it when it mattered. The Mercs look quick, them against the AM tomorrow could be a fantastic battle.

Ferrari disappointing again, also where was that rain they insisted was on the way??

It should be a great race actually with Perez coming through again.

The RB advantage isn’t as pronounced here, same as well for AM over Merc. The race might paint a different picture

That Merc and Williams result was a surprise.

Just finished watching qualifying and the mercs P2 and P3 was a surprise. Didn’t watch FP3( I have it recorded) but checo beaching the car seemed to be the cherry on top of a crap day in the RB. The rain didn’t arrive like Ferrari said it would.

Yeah a strangely interesting qualy I have to say. Be interesting to see how Perez does anything less than 5th wouldn't bode well for him. Max to storm off into the distance and win most likely. Unless George does everyone one a favour and take max and himself out first lap/corner.

Main bit of interest will be 2nd to 6th I would say.

Ferrari must be counting their blessings that all the attention has been on how poor the Mercedes has been so far this year. The Ferrari is woeful as well, seems to have made no progress from last year and they're not getting the slating they deserve!

Also, it's getting galling from Mercedes the woe is me attitude when in reality their car isn't bad at all, it's just not as good as the Red Bull. It's easily competing with Ferrari and Aston.

Great article on why it’s much closer here. Low temps, new surface and not much grip.

The race should be fun. Hoping for some drama and Alonso fun.

Tall order for perez to hit 5th. It's still a very difficult track to overtake, even with 4 DRS zones. It's not really fit for purpose.

If he gets fifth, I'd say he's had a very good race.

Who is staying up for this back home? It’s on at 10pm here so I’ve told herself she can put headphones on if she wants. F1 is life!

Morning all. Anyone up for the race? One of the benefits of #dadlife means I'm already up...

I just finished watching night one of wrestlmania so I’ve not actually gone to bed yet. Debating whether to say just stay up or go to sleep and watch the recording in a few hours.
