Anyone else battling the kitchen fittings. Ive got under boards made to big, pushing cabinet sides out. The washing machine depth wasnt considered with the plumping at the back, utility door barely closes and washing machine sticking out. Where we supposed to put a fited bin....that pop-up plug socket(which wont stay up half the time) is the only cabinet left thats 600mm wide, and that plug being there means you cant fit one.

Very little thought gone into the design, frustrating, is it just our place?

Yep, also having issues. Have had to put the dryer where the washer was to go and vice versa so the doors open away from each other. Utility door now just clears the dryer. Cutlery drawer was rubbing off induction hob, possibly because the hob sits lower than standard on the thin countertops... We contacted kitchen company to ask for a door to be made (at our expense) for the gap above double oven and they were very defensive and unhelpful. Have to go through foreman... Resigned to the fact there will be no pull out bins. It appears kitchen fitters put a hole in the sink drain pipe so we had a leak and smells coming up but G sent someone to fix it thankfully. The single sink is not very practical and tap wobbles when you turn it on. I have already had to tighten the levers. We love the design, style and colours of kitchen though.

Anyone had joy finding a fibre broadband provider?

I have looked at the 4G/5G broadband options but we don't want to take a 12 month contact.

Most washing machines/dryers you can pretty easily flip the doors around

@MangleBadger Yes, so I expected, but unfortunatly you can't on either of these Bosch machines. Ho hey, small problems..

    Hi Folks,

For those of you that have alarms fitted or have been quoted, were you able to make use of the wiring at the sash windows? We've been told that wireless (more expensive) sensors are the only option.

    Thanks

Hi, just wondering what’s everyone’s opinions / feelings on Chancel Way and Newcastle so far. We are looking at buying and would love some honest feedback about the estate, neighbours, surrounding areas / facilities. Any regrets?

    Thanks
