    Article reads like it was written by a friend of his, and still makes him seem like a complete crank.

    Doubt you'd be keen on mandatory contraceptive implants for young women yet want to force a procedure that isn't proven effective or safe on young men, sexist much?

    STDs would go through the roof as well if condom use (such as it is) was abandoned

    Forcing contraceptives is a mad idea. But publicising them and changing the social norms around men and women (and adolescents) using them would be good. Plus improving the treatments to reduce side effects would help.

    STIs are a fair point. The older population had a big increase in STIs in the last few decades. Particularly since online dating. Once they don't need condoms to prevent pregnancy, the rate of condom use goes down and STIs go up.

    "The pill" for men are about as good and have similar side effects as the women's versions. It's a bit wild that only women use them and almost no men use them. It's something to consider.
