More than a year since planning went in.

Shockingly you may not get wet while charging.

They have similar sites in Northern Ireland

They tend to be relatively high power with a mix of units with a mix of prices.

Could just use the one we already have, have linked it from the charger notification thread

I charged at the Kinnegar location in NI earlier this week. It was a very good experience overall and I hope we see a lot more locations like this over the coming year.

I particularly liked how there were different bays for different charging ratings from 50kw through to 200kw depending on how fast your car charges, or perhaps your soc.

It was a dry day, but I appreciated the canopy also, for no other reason than there wasn't a wind chill factor of -2!

Newbridge estimate march or april according to staff onsite. Visually no change to above photo.

Is there anywhere to see their current prices? There doesn't seem to be any app and the prices on plugshare aren't always upto date.

Don't know where you can find the prices sorry. They don't seem to change that often, so Plugshare might be accurate.

Two 200kW CCS of these coming to the Maxol on the Sandyford Road in Dublin:

There are photos on plugshare app for the site near Hollywood in Belfast. The price varies by connector speed so no one answer for price. Beware suppliers can change prices overnight with zero warning.

The one in Holywood/Kinnegar hasn't worked for me the last 3 times and when I tried last week 2 other cars turned away too.

No centralised way of seeing the price and prices can change without warning. Sounds a lot like the same problems ICE have!

When their first site at Kinnegar Belfast opened they were asked about app access, and they said it was on their radar but not a priority. Since then the Public Charge Point Regulations 2023 came into force in the UK from last November and that will require both providing live data to third parties (by November 2024), and roaming access (by November 2025).

They already satisfy the contactless payment at all rapids.

This is why I would avoid using these chargers, not being able to see their availability in real time would put me off, they are definitely going to lose traffic without having live data.
