The first two seasons of air wiedersehen pet still hold up. I mean despite Neville being a pain in the hole through the thing.

Are you sure it has been edited for ITV4?

Lots of gritty punch ups on the Sweeney in particular, and one recent professionals episode ended with Bodie and a former colleague knocking seven kinds of sh1te out of each other.

Watched an episode of the Sweeney about year ago and the cuts made the plot nonsensical, they cut a death with a flare gun which left a later scene confused

    Inspector Morse is pretty timeless,
    Murder she Wrote is funny

Found a DVD boxset of RISING DAMP & have been howling with laughter at it. Totally politicLly incorrect & just wrong in so many ways but as sharp and funny as when it first probably came
out. Doubt it could ever be shown on TV again or even if its available for sale.

That we’re laughing mostly AT LR & that ‘Philip’ often gets the better of him and Miss Jones is often appalled by what he comes out with mostly makes it possible to still laugh at most of the scenarios. Sickeningly funny every episode!

Freaks and Geeks is probably the best teen show ever made and I watch with my teenage kids all the time. Brilliant tv.

Look at the thumbnail for Too Many Christmas Trees on IMDB, and you might see more than you bargained for
