Loads of money going on Saunders all day with the bookies. Canelo price come in a good bit.

Canelo still 1/6 on paddypower. Hasn't moved since yesterday. 6/4 for KO/TKO

    I hope Saunders shows up..

Still a weird vibe that he finds a way out..

    Ah well!

It is $20 a month subscription. If the fight alone is just 2 then I will do that of course.

*Note, I live in Canada, so it might be a different subscription policy.

DAZN is 1.99 a month here. Granted in Canada you may have more content. The app here seems to only have, boxing, boxing classics and a few mediocre sports, like that new e racing championship with the jeeps that run for 10 minutes
It's good value for the boxing alone

Into 1/4 with Ladbrokes which seems very short to me.

Skybet offering 1/2 for Canelo - double chance (win in rounds 7-12 or pts). Can't help thinking thats tremendous value.

The closer it's getting the more I'm getting a vibe that it will be closer than I thought

Load of money on Saunders would mean Canelo's price should be going out?

He is odds on so coming in closer to evens? That's how I always viewed it. Looking back now, it can be used either way I suppose depending on market ?

Saunders has done nothing in his career to show he stands any chance here...a total mismatch for me, but €2 is worth it if there's a chance of seeing a beatdown, Saunders is a knacker and I hope he gets mauled tonight.

Alvarez is 1/6. I.e for every €6 you put on you get €1. Saunders is 9/2. I.e every €1 you put on you get €4,50.

Interesting to read this link to the thread on Lemieux v Saunders and compare the before and after comments. The pick of them of course is the utterly clueless comment in post no. 2. Some people have very short memories.

How will he handle fighting in front of 70 thousand fans?

(Shot clearly shows about 5% of seats in use. :pac: )

I see I made my one and only ever correct boxing prediction on that thread. :pac:

Hopefully BJS makes it two tonight!!

Price coming in would mean the price is shortening. Essentially you get less back for your euro.

1/2 shortens to 1/4 or comes in.

1/2 drifts or goes out to 1/1

Ps. If the price is odds against 2/1, it would come in to evens/shorten

Good read that. It's such a shame four years later we're still trying to project Saunders actual ceiling. Wasn't too big a call to project his ceiling to be higher than David Lemieux's. Feels like a fairly huge shout though to say its higher than a 2021 version of Canelo to me though.

As much as I expect Saunders to raise his game again tonight its difficult not to take into account that Canelo has improved a **** load and beat Golovkin, Jacobs and Kovalev since whereas BJS finest moment has been beating a 38 year old Martin Murray. That Canelo we talked about in 2017 is a different animal these days and for me 168 favours him much more than Saunders. We've seen Saunders visibly wobbled by Shefat Isufi at 168. Even at his most unmotivated he always seemed sturdy at 160. Do think the move to 168 was born more through his lack of dedication to the sport than a move to better his abilities and if theres ever a time it catches up with him its against a strong guy like Canelo.

Part of me wants him to prove me wrong as I've always liked watching him when firing on all cylinders but all the outside of the ring bull**** with him makes him very difficult to pull for.

Anyway, my main highlight was this belter that aged like milk:

Not a fooking hope he reigns numero uno at HW. Unless a few retire and he actually comes back.

Looking forward to this fight. On respective form , Alvarez should have an easy night's work.....mid round stoppage. But i've never liked Saul fighting in fits and starts , Saunders is a proper tactician and a good boxer , I can't see him eating Saul's power punches all night like others . Can see a closer fight than most posters here . Alvarez by afew rounds!!

Meant to post earlier, has the judge who gave it 97-92 Conway been escorted from the building yet?

Thought the commentators got mixed up with the cards, no?

It's what mad pony tail Dave called out in the ring, maybe he read the card wrong.

One of the commentators had to correct the other who assumed the 97-92 had been for Cissokho, disbelief of course to hear it was actually a card for Conway

Half way through the last fight before the main. Good fight. Better than the ufc at the moment.

    Might go the length.

    20 mins at least
