Considering its only a small stretch of road that currently holds the nations top speed limit I am not too fussed by it.

Most cars have cruise control so keeping to the speed should be pretty easy.

Even If you did speed your prob only saving 5 or so mins over the whole stretch.

Even without cruise control, anyone who can't keep a car under a certain speed shouldn't be let drive.

Why would a driver need to be warned that if they speed on any given road, they are liable to be fined and/or given penalty points??? Drivers are thought very early on in their driving training that speed limits may not be exceeded. My current car doesn't have cruise control however I can hold my speed perfectly well to within about 3 to 4 km/h and not just on level ground however I don't find this ability to be anything special. I glance at the speedometer every 10 to 15 seconds in conjunction with checking my mirrors. Have used this method of checking speed and mirrors for over 20 years and have not once been done for speeding. I don't drive slowly either, I drive right at the limit whenever I can; on a 120km/h limit, my speedo will be reading just under 130km/h which is a real speed of 120km/h. On a 100km/h limit, my speedo will be reading about 106 - 108km/h which is a real speed of 100km/h and so on, so forth.

I've never once taken my foot off the accelerator when I've spotted a speed camera when the road ahead is clear. In fact, just last weekend I drove to Mayo for a break. On the single carriageway N5, I was doing about 85-95km/h due to a car in front who was not able to keep a consistent speed for some strange reason, the limit being 100km/h. I spotted a speed camera ahead and thought nothing of it as we were already under the limit. About 2 to 3 seconds later, the car in front slams on the brakes down to less than 60km/h. No oncoming traffic so I took the opportunity to overtake and get back to the limit. Overtook as I accelerated to 100km/h, literally as I was passing the speed van, whilst the car blasts his horn at me and when I get in front he flashes his high beams for the next several seconds.
