I had been on Indian yt prob just as long as that, without a single glitch until this recent clampdown, so I guess it's a case of when, and not if they eventually catch up with accounts using the loophole.

(mind you, If you slip through the net, great for you)

I guess it's just a waiting game now for someone to discover a workable solution for the rest of us, but in the meantime I'm now in Romania lol

You should be allowed to get the Poland rate without YouTube asking for a Poland bank issued card. If YouTube asked it would be a breach of free movement of cross border services. Intra community trade and all that jazz

Yes, my sub was active for another 2 weeks. I didn't know but it overrided that sub and started a new one.

Got a notification from Revolut that it’s due to be taken tomorrow so we will see. I guess the good times are over.

Got the dreaded email this evening for my Argentina account. For the craic I sent them a fanciful appeal as to why I should be allowed to continue with my current plan so we'll see what they say. Failing that I'm interested in being adopted if anyone has room.

"YouTube Premium memberships based in India require a form of payment issued in India.

To maintain your membership, please update your form of payment to one issued in India before December 5, 2024. If you do not update your form of payment, your membership will not renew automatically, and you will lose access to your YouTube Premium benefits."

Nice while it lasted there...
