    Urgh, same email too.

Will be sorry to set it go, but I do watch awful shite on youtube.

Will only missing watching old gigs on it.

It's barely worth the €3 I pay at the moment. Definitely not paying the full amount

I just cancelled my current sub, turned on Nordvpn for Poland and added my Revolut card as payment method. The easiest it’s ever been when doing this.

I got no error or we didn’t recognise your payment method. Poland bing in EU may have helped? 🤷‍♂️

Alos got the turkey email, it was inevitable. Will try another region when it elaspes. Never in a million years will I pay the Irish prices. Looks like Poland family plan is the way to go now.

I feel it's like whack a mole with subscriptions with companies now, but it's worth the few mins effort to save.

So where are the best options now, Romania & Poland?

You are a khaki coloured bombardier, it's Hiroshima that you're nearing.

Got Poland set up - used Nord and a random address generator to make a Polish address. Seems to be working fine for now. I set up a separate virtual Revolut card just for the sub.

Got Romania setup a few minutes ago as my renewal was due in 2 days time. Got the family plan for 55RON (about 11 euro). which is way less than €26.99 they plan on charging.

Used a random address found via google and a virtual revolut card. No issues.

Got the dreaded expiring email a couple of weeks ago.

Have done nothing since, but received an email from YouTube this morning saying my Turkish sub is going up to TRY159.99 (approx. 4.30) per month from December 20th.

I'm assuming it's an automated thing, and their left hand doesn't know what their right hand is doing. But it'd be lovely if I didn't have to move anywhere.

Got the Argentina email a few days ago. Gave Poland a try with a little used gmail of mine and got to the payment section, but all cards used declined.Might give it one more try with a virtual Revolut.

Turkish family membership is increasing from around €3.13 in price to €4.32 from next month.

Still a great deal for those of us who haven't received any emails about wrong country yet!

    159.99 TRY/month is it?

Funnily I don't get the emails about price increases, but a second adult on the account does, despite me paying.

I had Argentina but got the email and so had to start again. I joined up to Vietnam and I got the above back in September. Still working at the moment. Used a normal VPN and app.

Signed up to Turkey again (individual sub), as mentioned using the Apple method.

3 days ago it was 79TL and got email today that its increasing to 104TL.

"Note that you can save on your YouTube Premium subscription by signing up directly on our website, where the new rate for your plan would be TRY 79.99/month."

Either their way of getting the 30% back from Apple or another way of catching us out?

No VPN needed to redeem the Turkish apple vouchers?

My turkey sub will cancel in another two weeks so will be looking at the apple option for turkey this weekend.

Thought it was over when I seen email but not yet!

To continue delivering great service and features, we’re increasing your price to TRY 79.99/month.

We don’t make these decisions lightly, but this update will allow us to continue to improve Premium and support the creators and artists you watch on YouTube

You will see the change reflected on your December 26, 2024 billing date.

Unless you have a valid Turkish payment, it's over.

Got the same email, as did a few others.
