Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Late shoulder on Ringrose I think which is what Byrne was complaining about.

Why is jgp having to ruck?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,098 ✭✭✭UAEguy2020

That pass by VDF show's where Leinster are mentally.

    That Ringrose down again?

He's barely taking contact from what I can see, just acting as a pivot in most instances.

    Baird is phenomenal in contact.

Poor from Byrne. Options both sides and he picked neither.

    Incredible finish from Dave

Because forwards are leaving themselves isolated.

JGP has been as poor as he was 3 years ago in these last 10 mins. Been a long time since it was this bad.

Would like to see the build up to that try. Looked like Byrne has options to pass left or right, but didn't take them.

Excellent finish from Kearney. A lesser Kearney wouldn't have gotten that down.

Baird has been exceptional. Impressed with Murphy too.

Leave Max Kearney out of this!

Accuracy doesn’t look there today. But in fairness there’s been a lot of disruption to the team which can’t have helped.

Definitely. Still think Baird is taking contact too upright at times, but he's winning collisions against bigger men. Murphy is very underrated imo, I reckon he'll pick up a few caps.

Henshaw had a very good half. Baird showing up well, lineout excellent. Porter and Healy both going well. Were much more physical than Northampton but were panicky and lacking composure.

Mental games at play now and expectation weighing along with the injuries. Get the next score and we should be fine, don't see enough from Northampton to turn this around either way.

Baird certainly looks the better of the second rows.
Murphy okay but back row needs to be more effective.

Like to see Leavy on the pitch for the second half

The Steward is now on 18 tries in his last 20 games btw

Wasn't aware that Josh Murphy is a cousin of Harry and Ross Byrne.

    Yessssssss!

That’s more like it from JGP

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,308 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Some great awareness from JGP. But what were Northampton doing leaving nobody in direct line of their posts?

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Great stuff Jamie, but that was too easy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,308 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Oh good jaysus.

    Great response, fair play

JGP makes up for buying that dummy in the first half!

Shute stuff Jamie, but that was far too easy...

    Such a sloppy performance

If McGrath was playing and gave up two tries like JGP has today, he’d be getting crucified on here right now.

Third caller to door.. missed restart

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,098 ✭✭✭UAEguy2020

And then JGP immediatly screws up. Northampton almost have a BP and all 3 tries are directly from monumental Leisnter **** ups...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,752 ✭✭✭degsie

Great to see a team put it up to Lein a bit!

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,945 ✭✭✭KH25

Far too many basic errors from Leinster.

Should have been penalty before that one to Leinster, total shoulder charge.

Potential card too. Clear shoulder charge into a players back.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,098 ✭✭✭UAEguy2020

This is like Munster v Harlequins last week, Northampton are staying in touching distance without really doing anything.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,980 ✭✭✭randomname2005

Sloppy at the lineouts. Claim the ball

It was about 2 meters in front of the referee too.

Have to say Leinster are doing their best to keep Northampton in this.

    Ruddock is finished

Ruddock's looked uncomfortable for the last 5 minutes.

Ruddock has been minding his ribs since the tenth minute.

Leinster penalised for touching the 9,saints looked to do the same and nothing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,001 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Baird has spilled the ball a few times in the tackle now

I think all the disruption is causing issues with subs at this point in the game, need to leave him on

Ever since that squeeze tackle with Josh Murphy he’s been holding them.
