My apartment is like a sheebeen. Anyone calling will be treated well. I'd be a moderate drinker but I look at this like an investment. In future it will be food at the shops and no booze saving money in the process.

    Be merry and well.

(Picked up 3 Graham Norton prosecco for 25 and Bombay Branble 26 today, they were out of slabs though)

Edit just realised nobody can call, ah well it will last longer so.

I presume, if multi buy is being ousted and if a single can of guinness is 2euro, this will mean slabs will be 48 euro and no more 8 cans for 12euro deals. craft beer industry will take a big hit if the 4 for 10 quid deals go

A slab might be ok as it has its own barcode so could be considered a single 'product' item.

Yep, as long as multipacks are prepackaged with the bottles/cans not for individual resale, I expect there will be no issue.

There was a theory that the 470 ml Guinness cans are a workaround for the multi buy rules as the 470ml cans aren’t sold individually so not discounted.

Good value there on the 500ml Bulmers cans, not the 430ml that were in the slabs. 24 500ml cans for €25.

Just wondering about these bulmers as it's the old packaging advertised? Some of which I seen in a "clearance" basket in supervalu lately and they were out of date by TWO YEARS!!

Do they definitely end today? Supervalu app says offers are until 6th of Jan, if they end today Ill be needing a trip to town.

Their new round of offers starts today an they are fairly crap for wine & spirits - theres the odd beer deal there but its a standard deal like 4 for €10, etc

Nothing compared to the extravaganza that we've seen in the last few weeks.

20 bottles of hop house or heineken for €12 was my favourite

Anyone know the end date on these deals in Dunnes?

Looks like the supermarkets aren't hanging around to pump up their prices.
Was in Tesco earlier and slabs of Heineken are now €39.34

Supervalu had advertised on the app that slab offers were available until the 6/1, the offer has now disappeared off the app. Was out of stock in My local anyway.
