Do you not want covid gone?

I want the restrictions gone. These can be got rid of. I'm not so confident about covid, certainly not on a cost versus benefit analysis.

6.1 is still a key source of news for a fair chunk of the population and they like to hear from the leader of the country.

So why release all the details ahead?

Because they haven't a clue what they're at.

    This thread is hilarious!

Perhaps they are trying to live with Covid and paying attention to all the areas that Ireland are happy to completely ignore .

24 hour news cycle and it's a very big deal in our current lives. I'm informed but I may take a peek at Martin anyway.

I’d agree with you about cabinet decisions being leaked.

And no prizes for guessing who is leaker in Chief.

Anyone who thinks Varadkar is in anyway unique in feeding info to journalists has a lot to learn about politics

Can you post your cost versus benefit analysis please?

I don’t think you are allowed to ask for proof of anecdotes especially when they support the exact point the poster was just making.

Everyone knows handy hearsay is 100% accurate. :)

So you think Tony's advice to nursing homes in March was sound? Thankfully many operators/ managers saw what was happening particularly in Italy, decided Tony was talking out of his hole and implemented their own measures.

Hence why I said leaker in Chief.

He’s in no way unique in leaking, but the man can’t help himself.

We can't live in permanent lockdown though, ask yourself why is the rest of Europe not in permanent lockdown.

Is there an EU country you'd have us swap places with ?

If by "permanent lockdown" you mean any restrictions at all, there are very few if any countries that won't fit that criteria. Otherwise we aren't, weren't and won't be, in permanent lockdown.

Are you suggesting Tony isn't infallible? Won't go down well here amongst the fanclub.

That's rich, Your responding to a poster with a track record stretching back months making unproven posts to suit his obsessive agenda.

"7 more deaths from Covid 19"

Did they actually die from Covid 19 or with it in their system? Interesting wording from Zara King

They were definitely stockpiling cases for yesterday. No doubt about it. Won't be surprised to see a raft of denotifications over next week or so too.

No I don't mean any restrictions at all, I mean the strictest in all of Europe. We have had the longest in the entire world and some people still think its not enough. Stop being so afraid, we have been programmed to be terrified by the media and NPHET
