A tale of 3 lots if SIX cattle in Gortalea last night. 710 lgs good well finished R grade cattle made 2860 or a tad with 4/ kg, under 30 months. A better type but a larger frame 715kgs could be slaughtered but could be fed into a U grade and take another 100kgs plus made 3410 or 4.75/ kg. He is gone to be fed on I think over 30 .months at present The last one 540 kgs 1700 euro. Over 30 months but would be a great bullock to over winter and feed a bit with 3/ kg.

IMO they will have the whip hand until Christmas at least. Your bullocks and that good type SIX above will be fed on we will be paying for those type of expensive feedlot cattle. You did well with yours.

The three finished SIX would have made 4.4/ kg at least 3 weeks ago. 550-600 kgs fireman's that were making 4/ kg 6 weeks ago and 3.7/ kg up until last week were only making 3.5/ kg last night. 180 lots of cattle, bigger numbers and a lot of heavy continental cattle. Up 60 lots on two weeks

IIt Can be hard to catch a falling knife. Not sure I would be holdiplain finished cattle.. Those three finished cattle would have made that and more than that 3 weeks ago.

The 540 kg for 1700 was bought on 1 bid and was not the most healthy looking he could go either way and if he went the wrong way he'd be very expensive

Trade way serious strong in general plenty heavy continental cattle making well above factory gate price and a lot of Angus stores making 4.50/4.60 per kg fr steers down to 3.50 per kg but nearly all p grades, that mart was stronger than lots of other marts this week despite all the bad weather

    You definitely don't need viagra.

Just mention cheap cattle or a falling mart price and you get excited

If everything was someway settled factory wise I would have fed on the 2 that made 3690, one of them at 765kg would take another 100kg no bother he had serious frame on him.

Would be nice to finish & compare then, overall v happy considering they never saw a nut in their lifetime
