At least the third time this season he's done this

    https://twitter.com/ChrisWheatley_/status/1335654844049321985?s=20

Referees haven't a clue either, nothing given here, against Brighton he got a penalty for it, and against West Ham he had a free kick given against him, all for the exact same thing.

Bale looks even more unhappy there that he did on the Madrid bench at least he was laughing and joking in Madrid.

He should be given a kick up the hole and retire if his life as a player is so much of a hassle to him.

I really like Nuno he will do a great job at top team if one takes a chance on him.

Arsenal could try all week and still not score..

    No poser at the lane

I see Hojb getting loads of praise. Can't say I've noticed him much

    Great signing ?

If a player did that in a Rugby Union game they would be sent off for dangerous play.
You'd think the referees would be wise to Kanes carry on by now.

It's definitely something that should be looked at by refs. Could do serious harm to a player that way. Done by plenty of players, but Kane has done it regularly for a while now, and usually wins free kicks from it. As long as refs keep falling for it, players will keep doing it, and someone will get seriously hurt.

He would be citied in Rugby by the other team as well even if it's missed by officials.

You'd wonder how Kellehers career will pan out short to medium term. Probably a less than 5% chance of replacing Alisson who easily has another 6/7 years left in him. So either happy to be a long term number 2(no shame at top club) or look down a division or two for regular football.

Berbatov used to do it regularly for United too and it really annoyed me. He probably did it for Spurs also!
    But it's so dangerous.

No player should be doing it. All it takes is one extra bit of rotation by the player in the air and they could land on their neck.

Where's the yellow card for Coady?

    That's a dive.

Dont be silly hes English and not black,
English alone doesnt matter cause the likes of Sterling would be slaughtered for that

Crowd back is amazing. They sound great.

The Kop usually isn't great for PL games compared to Europe when it's off the scale, but tonight is a bit special.

You wouldn't know there's only 1,500 or whatever of them.

Wolves are in excellent team. One defensive mistake is all it took but they're a really well drilled team and they've defended really well and are really in this game. Semedo, Neto and Adama all have super pace.

I think we need another 2 goals here, certainly another 1 at a minimum. 3pts would be huge

Clattenburg said it was a clear dive from Coady and he should have been booked.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,954 ✭✭✭✭yourdeadwright

The whole Harry Kane backing into players need to ve mentioned by a manger, its the only way refs and media will take not
Hes going to seriously injury someone its very cowardly

The ref watching Conor Coady dive, acknowledging the dive, and overturning his decision because of it but then neglecting to book Coady just tells the players that they might as well keep chancing it because there are no consequences anyway.

No idea what station I'm watching but they just called Caoimhin Kelleher "Quadeen", they also mentioned his name is wrong on his jersey :D

Its definitely a yellow card, but can he issue a yellow under the VAR rules? I thought it was just the penalty check that can be made on it.

As someone said in the Liverpool thread, theyll say we checked VAR for a penalty but not for a dive or some nonsense lile that

Well they cant check VAR on a yellow card offence so mayne they cant give a yellow card om a VAR check

Yeah Mane was booked for a dive after a VAR penalty review against Villa last season

I believe the check to be only for the penalty, basically yes or no, and nothing else is checked.. even though it was a certain dive and definitely a yellow if seen properly in real time.

Was that not disputed at the time though, I'm pretty sure it was said that it shouldn't have happened. Again meaning consistency is a problem

Coady really should have levelled it up the other end before that goal. He's a red card short of a full house of sh*t this game.
