How is that not a back pass to do that?

'' I'll cushion it back to keeper ON purpose''

    WTF

Won away at Old Trafford this season. But it was their first in a few seasons if I remember correctly.

Thanks. For some reason I thought that ended 1-1.

Had a quick look and it seems 2015 was the last one before that and it was away at City.

Arsenal have started the half well but Spurs look so dangerous on the break.

Not once in this game have Arsenal played the way you play against a team happy to defend their third of the field and counter. Constantly playing into Spurs' plan by overcommitting and giving them the whole pitch to run in to.

    They could get hammered here

The same tactical naivety Man U showed against Spurs.

Ole and Arteta two mangers in over their heads.

Arteta surely under pressure if Arsenal lose this. Sitting in 15th place.

Bit of a sad indictment of Bale's current game that he cant displace Bergwign in the side as he looks the weak link in recent games since Lamela got injured(who himself isnt the best)

They won't. Willian, Aubameyang & Lacazette have been ghosts today, well for the last few weeks.

This Spurs back line has Dier and Aurier in it and Spurs are letting you have the ball. Keep it and your shape and keep testing those two, they will give you a goal. Just don't **** it away by launching everybody forward.

If you concede first against this Spurs team, you are in serious trouble. So hard to break down.

Liverpool V Spurs on the 16th is gonna be a very interesting game

Coupled with Unoted v City a few days before both absolutely massive games now

Klopp won't fall for the banana in the tail pipe like Arteta did.

Spurs conceded 9 all season, this is title winning form in all fairness.

Jose has used Bale brilliantly but not as Bale would like , as in look at hin a super star but he isnt worling hard enough for me, so all you lads work like dogs or your out

Redknapp trying to sell this as a good Arsenal performance makes me think he should see a doctor in the morning.

Agree. Talk about an impact sub. Especially when ahead.

Goingnto be super critical here but Arsenal keeper positioning for Sons goal was awful

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,272 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Bale looks even more unhappy there that he did on the Madrid bench at least he was laughing and joking in Madrid.

Spurs conceded 9 all season, this is title winning form in all fairness.

And one third of those were in a ten minute spell against West Ham. Their reaction to that was make or break for their season, but clearly use it as motivation as they've been far better at staying concentrated to the last minute since.

watching Willian here reminds me of Joe Cole at Liverpool, Chelsea don't go all out to keep them if they aren't finished

Yeh Jose is a genius at that. He tried to do it at United and Woodward turfed him out when he upset the marketable cashcow Pogba. The man who Ed gloated brought the most amount of traffic to our website when he signed.

Ironic that a bit on the sidelines may have finally put some manners on Pogba but it led to the end of Jose at United.

You back Jose , you get results. Always said that Jose is easily one of the best coaches and the best in one on one games when even teams meet. Never understood how people wrote him off, prob just they didn’t like him as he is an obnoxious Cnut at times. But until he manages your club you can’t understand how good he is , you see what those at other clubs don’t. He’s meticulous and tactically superior prob to any manager in the game.

I hope spurs win the league when United don’t. Be great to see Pep get another spanking and Jose proving that he doesn’t need war chests to win a league. Pep only takes on sure things, he wouldn’t last a season at Porto or spurs or inter cause he needs a club that’s ready for a title or CL challange. Be great for Jose to confirm what I know, he’s just a superb manager when he’s happy at his club, works well with the owners and he’s allowed to do things his way.

Willian & PEA being paid about £600k a week between them terrible waste of money Arsenal now looks like a retirement home for 30 something over paid players.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,013 ✭✭✭davycc

Back top of the league super spurs!
Arsenal could try all week and still not score..

Toby and Pierre hojbjerg were rocks at the back. Ever player work his booolox off.

    No poser at the lane

Said a few weeks back Arteta looks out of his depth and seen nothing since to make me rethink it. 15th place for Arsenal is disgraceful given the squad at his disposal (16th if Brighton beat Southampton). This doesn't look like a proper Arsenal side any more. He can't seem to get anything out of the players now and Aubameyang and Willian, who were two of the best players in the league during Project Restart, have fallen off dramatically. I see a parallel with him and Solskjaer; he'll fail in the key moments but do just enough elsewhere to give succour to those who think he just needs a little bit more time. That's a recipe for a steady decline in standards.
