Rashford has improved under him . Martial too.

Would they have improved anyway as they're becoming more mature? Possibly.

Its been said on Sky/BBC etc but you cant see what is he trying to do. If there was a idea he was working towards you could argue for him but hes chopping and changing ideas/formations from game to game.

Rashford was what just gone 21 when Jose was sacked ?
How much of his improvement has been down to Ole and how much has been down to him just growing up and natural progression ? Impossible to ever tell but lets be honest people go over board with him last season was his best season by a mile and he was still only the 5th highest English goal scorer in the league , 10 other players scored as much or more,

The forums legion of Portsmouth fans aside, who will be disappointed that Danny Ings isn’t badly hurt?
My impression is he’s fairly universally liked and I’ve never seen anyone wish him anything but good will given his injury record

Very true. He has been so unlucky with injuries, but came back stronger than ever, banging in goals like he can. Great news indeed.

Forgot this was on. 2 goals already and I kinda knew that even though Fulham had scored them, I felt Mitrovic would not have scored either.
He badly needs a tap in to get himself going again.

Glad Fulham won - my second favourite team - always play the game right way unlike Burnley and Stoke and many other mid to lower end teams

Not much point playing "the right way" if you're up and down the leagues like a yo-yo.

Edit, but I do agree, I find teams that play better football more likable.

Being clinical is what's needed. Bamford should have been on course for another hatrick within 30 mins. Mostly poor performance, didnt deserve anything but could have been different

The crossing in the second half and their corners were no where near good enough. Leicester's tactics were well known in advance but Leeds simply couldn't handle them.

Pochettino’s English is nowhere near as good as I thought it was.

Don’t think he’s come across particularly impressive so far.

Burnley have succeeded massively in the Premier League on a shoestring budget while Fulham spent more than any other promoted team in history only to be immediately relegated only 2 years ago, I'd say there's more to a club's character than just how many defenders they have behind the ball.

Bar Hernandez they're never good at corners, infuriating given the amount they can get. The quality of the players really showed what's needed, being able to bring maddison off the bench a clear example

There's a massive gulf between Leeds, with a manager and a squad that is still finding its feet at this level, and Leicester, with a manager and a squad that has been around the block so many times, some with title medals. As you rightly say, being able to call Maddison off the bench says it all. A manager as brilliant as Bielsa narrows those margins, so championship players can give a good account and sometimes even take points, but Leeds have to expect a beating every now and again.

Listening to The Ornstein podcast today it was said that it’s the smaller teams with less outside revenue that want to keep the PPV price at £15 and it’s the bigger clubs that want to bring the price down.

The Athletic reporting that the PPV will be scrapped and when games start back after the international break they will be shown on Sky, BT & Amazon.

this kind of proves my theory that if you react to anything with rage or indifference it generally goes away

I can only assume it's because the paltry amount of money they made from it wasn't worth the bad press.
