Anyone else noticing a lot of GA appearing on FR24 of late? Do take a glimpse the odd time but just seems a lot more are showing visible recently

Do all aircraft appear on FlightRadar?

Just heard a plane passing me in north Donegal, but nothing on the app.

Three C130s CODY01, RCH270 and one other that I didn't get a screenshot of. Seemed to land at Belfast International.

BTW - I'm Donegal as well, heard the noise and ran out to see but completely overcast. Nothing showed on FR24 but showed up on ADSB

Yeah it was the low drone or hum I normally hear from smaller craft going to Donegal airport.

    Are they both military then?

With some restrictions lifted the flight schools are back in action. Atlantic Flight training are extremely busy out of their bases in Cork and Waterford, and National Flight Centre is active out of Abbeyshrule now. A listen to 127.5 gives an indication of how busy things get on a good VFR day.

More and more GA aircraft are becoming ADSB equipped, coupled with more antennas on the ground to pick them (and MLATs) up are resulting in more showing up on the likes of FlightRadar24

I noticed on FR24 particularly at night i do see gliders over the UK & Europe but never in Ireland. Do we not have the right weather conditions for Gliders?

I understand that a nice new B777-300 BBJ will cross Ireland at around 3-4am as it crosses towards the STU VOR. It probably won’t show on FR24.

    Anybody spot this :p

Yep, tracked it most of its flight :):)

There's a Cityjet plane in Aer Lingus colours currently heading towards Nova Scotia. It got there from DUB via KEF. Anyone know its final destination?

    Omni Air B767 N477AX
I wonder has this aircraft been repaired and being flight tested now since its 'little' bounce on landing March 8, 2020.

That's what it's doing today, Flight tests after being worked on the past few months.

A team from Boeing spent a month doing the repairs in June, it then went into paint in IAC and then had a small maintenance check in Lufthansa.

    Just an update on EI-RJD.

The AN225 is just airborne out of Ukraine routing to Bangor, Maine as ADB373F. Looks like it will pass north of Ireland though.

Due back eastbound on Sunday through Prestwick.
