As soon as all the boxes had been ticked I would say, probably inside a day. There'd be no autopsy as cause of death would be known.

Not so bad far as I can see. But maybe like ourselves the worst hasn't hit yet.

We are furthest West, so I would follow UK and take it from there. They had zero, then two or three, and now many cases too.

Anyone thought about the implications for the EU. Along with Brexit could economic collapse in Italy, perhaps Spain and other countries, along with political turmoil bring the EU down?

Is it still the case that more men than women are becoming seriously ill with this? I know that was the case in China but are we seeing similar in Italy? I think we may have slightly more female cases here in Ireland but obviously that sample size is far, far too small to draw conclusions from.

Latest reports have only the fella from Cork in intensive care - it's why he was moved to the infectious disease unit in the Mater in Dublin.

I think I read somewhere that it's because of a large number of male smokers in China as to why the rates were skewed. Not sure if it's true though.

That country is atypical though, not the norm. More people in Italy have the virus than in the whole of Europe.
