    They are moving to the North & South of Galway - not much in the middle......yet

    Eerie calm now, after lightning and thunder about 25 mins ago when I took the photo E above Westport looking NW towards Kilmeena. a lot brighter there now. Light rain on and off. 20,1ºC now, down from max. around midday of 22,3ºC.

    had a few spits of rain from the thunderstorm the slipped pass,prefer if the sun had stayed out instead now,was working on my colour,instead of being left under the cloud hang over.

    Torrential rain with constant thunder in this clip a short time ago here near Tralee. Temp right down to 12.5C now. Got windy under the cell during the heavy rain and hail, could see the cloud base swirling a bit. Coming up on 25 mm now since midnight, 19 mm in about an hour. Had a rain rate of 51 mm an hour.

    Still have thunder and lightning, heavy rain just starting again.

    Seems to be picking plenty on it's outer ranges - probably because it's heavy rain & high up

    Sunny spells here near Westport now, rel. humidity down to 78% from a max. of 99% late morning. Intermittently breezy (northerly) now with a max. gust of 27.2 kts. Very dark skies to the S and SW.
