    Fairly blustery with Sleety rain here in Dunshaguhlin. I am glad i went to Glendalough as there was not much wind to speak of- although i thought better of chancing Sally's Gap just in case.

    Sleet in Swords too, closer to snow than what I saw in Dublin 5 earlier.

    Some nice snowfall in D15 atm although not a hope of it sticking the ground is far too wet.

    And just as we had the first proper flakes get into the mix in D9 the precip stops. Sky less heavy looking. Radar looking sparse enough now for the East, maybe another hour or so of goods left.

    Great swathes of yellowy-grey clouds sweeping across the wide skies, hurling hail mixed with rain.... Dark as evening. I opened the door to look out and got an ice-bitten- face with high wind

    The scene from the window is sheer winter glory.
