Michael's Taoiseachship disappearing into the mist.

I thought FG might close the gap and they have.

Sinn Fein headquarters in party mode right now.
I would doubt it...they are probably kicking themselves for running so few candidates! Real opportunity missed

    FG more transfer friendly.

More or less cause they are in current government and I would think this is down to ppl picking their individuals towards actual parties.

    FF-FG confidence & supply again?

I think so, some form of unity government anyway. Even if one party got the support of all the other rag tags I don't think they could get a majority going.

Plus SF don't have enough candidates anyway to match the numbers of the other 2 if it all translated into seats.

    Penalty shootout.

We all know what party likes a shootout :D

Same again for another couple of years. Neither FF or FG will work with Sinn Fein. However, if there is more of the same, that could lead to Sinn Fein being the biggest party after the next election.

FF numbers underestimated as people feel embarrassed about admitting it!!

And to think that RTE originally didn't think it worthy to invite Mary Lou to the leaders debate!

That was 2011 and 2016. It's equally possible people are ashamed to admit vote for FG based on their govt performance in the last 9 years, and SF given historical issues.

Roughly SF plus 9%, FG minus 3, and FF minus 2 since since 2016.

Still don't think they'll pick up the transfers the way FF and FG will so perhaps better fro them to lock in the safe seats rather than gambling on trying to get multiple seats.

They won't but could have got quite a few more seats still...missed opportunity.
Transfers gonna be so interesting tomorrow.

It's only an exit poll, I have to say I doubt it will be like that in the end result, think FF have been underestimated and SF overstimated.

FF/SF coalition most likely if not a confidence and supply.
