    heavy hail shower and lots of lightning and thunder over Dunmanway, West Cork. We've had at least 10 claps of thunder.

    Now raining at 2c, despite being a degree lower than the other shower.

    Really odd flipping and flopping between rain and snow today.

    Rain has melted most of what was sticking to the fields, so they are now mostly green again. I found the hat for my chimney in a field across the road and about 40m away, so it must have come off and traveled that distance near horizontally, as the field is only about 2m lower than the chimney.
