Anyone else see that huge band over the midlands ?!

Yes, will be arriving in North Kildare shortly. Will report back on what falls from it but I'm thinking it'll start as sleet/wet snow before turning to all snow.

turned to snow here now but melting on impact. First flakes I've seen since March 2019. Still some rain mixed with it, we're probably just on the wrong side of marginal.

yep, it keeps changing between rain, sleet and snow, proper flakes in the heaviest of bursts but sleet and rain in the lighter sections, nothing sticking obviously.

Very squally system on the Dingle Peninsula since yesterday afternoon. From clear, sunny to unwalkable, painful hail/heavy rain/dark on random intervals. Wind heavy to ridiculously heavy at times. Very annoying!

What's the point of a technical thread if it's just full of chat? I realise I'm adding to it but needs pointing out.
