Hate having to say this but this lad on the couch is a slob. Would he do something and get off his arse.

Heard him on the Ray D'Arcy earlier and this was a set up experiment conducted under supervision. He is a guy who made the final 20 applications but didn't get chosen for the final group.

Stop screeching Kathryn, you're like a bag of cats.

It really is bad and absolutely no need for it ...

There's a lot of people out there who've had their lazy days, I certainly have.
It's when it becomes a regular thing, that it becomes an issue.

When she was a young one on the Grip sports programme with Jason Sherlock around 1999 fair enough. But she's 41 or so now.

Wireless dude was saying it was a controlled experiment.

By the cut of him he looks like a fella who could be prone to a fair few lazy days though :)

Delighted for her, I can see the difference already.

It feels like they are filling time with these pieces.

I know they are down a leader because one person had to drop out for medical reasons so I guess they had to do something like that.

The self pity with this fella.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,417 ✭✭✭wirelessdude01

This aversion to 'healthy' food is a total spoof.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,417 ✭✭✭wirelessdude01

Also to me it has to be pretty obvious that there is something that has been missed along the way.

I wish he'd stop playing the martyr.

He lost most of the weight last week as he didn't eat. He threw veg in the bin. That's no example, not acceptable or sustainable.

Can he not just accept he was wrong and move on. Always someone has to be to blame. The judges didn't say nice things to me crap.

    Why the old man?

What had that to do with OT?

Rte will do anything to pigeon hole some misery/sad story into everything

Can you eleborate, or is it something that I suspect.

He doesn't like vegetables or something more... personal?

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,035 ✭✭✭✭NIMAN

If my 6 year old was acting like him, I'd be embarrassed.

I don't know! Vegetables maybe, it doesn't really matter I suppose.

Tanya's brother is the spit of Simon Coveney

For a minute I thought it was him.

Tanya's doing so well, losing weight, exercising and off the cigarettes.
Fair play, goes to show it's very doable.

Yep but I’ll bet you €100 that she’ll be still fat for next year’s show.

You'd have thought at this stage someone, somewhere would have told KT to time down the shouting.

Shouting Thomas as opposed to doubting Thomas.

What's the music sample from leading to and from ad break? Doing me head in..

Edit: never mind.. Bohemian Like You by Dandy Warhols.

You can burn as many calories in 30 minutes running as you can in 30 mins fast walking... good man Karl.

He didn’t have a sob story.

I saw a UK weight loss program a few nights back, it was done over 3 months and put into one hour for television. They all had dramatic weight loss. One man was coaching them for diet and exercise no judges mo sob stories or whinging and they all seemed determined to keep up the weight loss. Just shows how much of a joke operation transformation is.

It's not a program about weight loss. It's about healthy living and transforming your lifestyle.

So what if I speculated that something might be wrong at a deeper level here.

A fair bit of fighting for high moral ground here.

    It’s about RTE’s ratings.
