All weather forecasts and in particualr long range come with a health warning but the gneral picture is very positive for the rest of the week, when you consider the rain the course took over the last three weeks and the ground is currently soft, then it would take an almighty shift from current forecasts for it to come up anything worse that heavey.

Good to Soft, soft in places on the Tuesday and proper Good to Soft, Good in places on the Friday would be my prediction as things stand.

The ground is wetter than normal, saturated i'd say, so will take a lot longer to dry out. I might be wrong but i just cant see any 'good' in the ground.

Even if the clerk says "good to soft" ;)

Funny how the best jockey out of all of the English and Irish isn't even professional.

    Paint the dream seconded here
    Great weight course form 25/1

    Nice spot
Just added it - at 50/1 on will hill with 5 places
Did it win only a well at 56/1- some kind of boost.

Definitely an outlier price when 16/1 in PP and betfair

Are you somehow claiming that Simon would attempt to miss-declare the going? Surely not!

    A 56/1 winner is what you're missing

Any word on why Rowland Ward was pulled?
    Gone from betting
    Heard nothing though
Liked him in the Fred Winter

Finished ahead of Deyrann De Carjac over course and distance. Deyrann beat Pym handy giving weight, who beat Imperial Aura handy (albeit over further).

Finished 15l ahead of Garo De Juilley. Same distance Imperial Aura manageed again the same horse.

3 pounds lower than Imperial Aura for this. Now that is just comparing his form to Imperial Aura but he is the fav so no harm in using that as a good measure. 56/1 is fairly huge tbf

Last run is a concern, notes say trainer couldn't explain it.
did they need a blip to qualify it for cheltenham handicap or something ?

Trainer explained somewhat... bad early error, pulled a shoe off and was never going after. Was also over 2m on good to soft. Never runs 2 miles

Sounds like I'm really advocating for him now. But obviously there is reasons for his big price and is by no means a penalty kick for a place even. I just think his price is way too big for a horse who has pretty much been confirmed to be going and has course and distance form.

Johnson wouldn’t lace their boots. Standard of riding in England is atrocious.

any opinions on edwardstone @ 20/1 in the supreme? beat fiddlerontheroof at wincanton & 2nd to chantry house in a warwick bumper last year. worth an ew interest compared to the price of those two and goes well on soft.

Lord Du Mesnil headed for the NH if it's soft, as per owner on Twitter.

Some bet if the ground is soft and they'll surely manage to get either Codd or Connor on board.
