Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Delighted with that scoreline so far. Presumably Coombes failed the HIA? No word on him since he went off.

Conor Fitz made a balls of that kick into the corner. Gifted Munster a great position.

Just poor awareness, but even if he hadn't been in touch he'd put Connacht in a poor position with that pass to Porch regardless.

Aki should not be as agile for a man if his bulk. Dillane's carrying has been excellent.

    Daley has been class.

Infuriating that Munster (the same as Ireland in the past) still have no clue what to do with a penalty advantage.

That was some take by TOH.

Best player on the pitch so far.

Jack looked to be on his feet there, should have been a turnover penalty there

Best player on the pitch so far.

Aki has been pretty class as well.

I think Munster will be very pleased with that scoreline at half time. Daly and Nash doing a lot of the basics well. The lineout move ~35 mins was excellent. Connacht's running game looking more dangerous as the half went on tho.

I haven’t been able to watch the first half properly, how is Casey playing?

Doing well imo, his passing is very good (I've only noticed one where JJ had to re-adjust). His box kicking could be a touch better, but for his first start, I think he's going well.

There was a break of play where the camera showed Kleyn putting his hand on Casey's shoulder, the size difference was huge.

Worst part of watching Munster games definitely has to be that poxy Cavanaghs of Charleville ad.

    Nice attack
Then JJ squanders yet another penalty advantage

JOD killing that maul. He's so good at that.

Jesus how many mauls had he sacked this season?

Both Connacht players off feet, but ref can only hear the crowd.

Surprised Connacht went down the line with that penalty. Especially when Munster's maul defence has been so good.

They were both on their feet initially went off their feet after player on the ground wouldn't release. Always penalise the first offence.

Can't understand why Connacht are trying to get into a dogfight, losing every maul it seems

That sums up Connacht this evening. Blade wins a collision and looks for the offload and no one there.

Total lack of urgency about the team.

Crowd is right, that should probably have been looked at by the TMO....

Massive amount of terrible aimless kicking, Munster making it so hard on themselves.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,845 ✭✭✭shootermacg

Some bunch of heehaws in the crowd :D

I don't see Connacht all that often, but it must be infuriating be to watch them every week. Another crooked lineout. If they could tidy up the errors, it'd make things so much easier for them.

Bit of a panto atmosphere to it alright, but can understand why they'd feel hard done by, does look like Munster are getting on the right side of a few 50/50 calls.
