Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Good win for us, had a good few kids in that team, delighted.

    How'd Casey go?

Poor enough from a strong Connacht team, but Nash, Coombes and Daly were decent for Munster, backline overall went well with Casey running the show.

Not great. Box kicking in the 1st half was poor, passing slow and a few fumbles with the ball in hand.

Great win all things considered. Casey went well

Take the win all day long, the mistakes from Connacht cost them.

Munster under pressure for the backrow now tho; POM and Beirne injured and Botha is suspended for the Leinster game. Stander now won't feature for the next 2 inter-pro's and JOD ended up playing another 70 mins after Coombes HIA. I wonder could we see Wycherly feature at 6 against Leinster next week.

Can't help but feel that one was blown. Think not starting Carty was a mistake but maybe a boot up the hole he needed.

Shows how subjective it is. Thought he went extremely well for first start. Has a great pass on him and super attitude. Barking at people. Very excited to see him develop

Munster deserved win. Connacht were poor. Crowd was ott but brace wasn’t great. Home crowds are always the same anyway, recall Leinster fans booing for full game when Scarlets beat them in pro12 semi, they don’t lose much at home but when they are, as content to boo as anyone else. Been in Thomond as neutral too and seen them go spare. Ravenhill the same.

Crowd is right, that should probably have been looked at by the TMO....

Was there even a tmo there? I presume there was but can’t remember any tmo involvement or any late penalty call that seemed tmo led. Impossible to have an eighty minute game that doesn’t require tmo at some stage. Clear high shot on Godwin missed.

Ref missed a fair bit but we were shocking - error count and not looking after the ball cost us that game. Lot of casual fans in for the Christmas game for those carping about the crowd. I've seen our kicker booed in Thomond before so mind that high horse lads.

The IRFU creative team has booked a win for Connacht in this one.

Sure Munster haven't a hope. They'll just be glad to be there.

    Swerve!

Connacht lost that game rather than Munster win it, I thought we played a game that didn't suit Connacht tho we did have a patch where we kicked too much easy ball to them.

On the day Munster fully deserved the win.

I was very happy with our younger players, they performed well.

Munster played their game and dragged us into it.

Never wrestle with a pig, youll both get dirty and the pig likes it, hes also better at it than you.

We wrestled with the Munster and they simply outmunstered us.

They kept the ball from us and played the game where they wanted to play it.

Too many errors, too many bad decisions.

The constant booing was embarrassing as well.

That's some Deliverance sh1t right there. Any other words of wisdom such as "Don't ever wrestle with your sister when there's sheep to be had?" :D:D

Never play chess with a pigeon. They'll just knock over the pieces, sh1t on the board and strut around as if they won...

You can't really tell that without actually looking at the carries. If he carries for 1m but it takes 3 defenders to tackle him then that's very effective because he's made space in the defensive line.

Finally watched the game yesterday. Thought Munster played a smart controlled game - fully trusted their systems without ever really having to fire a shot.

Thought Casey played well for his first start.

Please expand on this? and don't mention the sarcastic clap that accompanied Ian Keatley off the pitch once, everyone that was there knew it was a clap for the management finally making a decision that should have been made 20 minutes earlier.

I wouldn't bother, there is an attempt to turn the booing in Galway around to be a Munster thing, shameful from a mod to be trying so hard to introduce inter provincial bullsh1t

Ah here pull the other one. Keatley was booed off the pitch. He’s talked about it, other Munster players have talked about it ffs.

There was no booing I'm afraid. Sarcastic clapping and cheering by an embarrassing minority of fans directing their frustrations (inappropriately) at management on the day for waiting so long to sub Keatley.

But "booed by his own fans" makes a much better headline. One swallowed and believed by the more naive patrons among us.
