Is it going to be snowing in my back yard at 6:18 this evening?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,677 ✭✭✭SleetAndSnow

Just started heavily rain mixed with sleet in cork city. Wonder if those thunder strikes will move in! If no snow I’ll take thunder!

Edit: Times like these is when you’d miss the radar..

There’s a weather station on wunderground in the lough, cork which I’ve been using for the past two weeks and seems fairly accurate. Is reading current temp as 5 but feels like 1 with a dewpoint of 3 degrees currently.

Wouldn't surprise me to see it turn in far S Dublin for few hours this evening whilst wind is offshore, will readily turn to rain once the easterly picks up from the 14 degree seas.

Dundrum/Tallaght possibly down to Leop and Donnybrook could get a few flakes depending on precip intensity.
