Chilwell on over 96% to a price rise according to fplstatistics. About 30% closer than when I checked earlier in the evening. Bringing him in now for van Dijk. Like the idea of not having any Liverpool or City defenders for when they play each other in a couple of weeks.

Already have Soyuncu and Tielemans but can’t not get Vardy now if even only for price rises.

Yeah Vardy in will be popular, just don't think Palace is a good fixture.

Arsenal on the other hand.... He could destroy them.

Transfers for this week all depend on Aguero, if he doesnt return, he's out for Vardy or Jimi

    Leno out Allison in

    Aguero out

Too much money invested in a player that's not guaranteed to start

Vardy is the obvious one isn't he?

    Same, kun out, Vardy in.

Likely Wilson and McGinn out for Vardy and Saka/other 4.7 or less becnh fodder MF.

Itd take a braver man than me to sell aguero ahead of the southampton game. But his lack of minutes is becoming an issue.

Aguero to Vardy will be very very popular

When he plays midweek you'll be sweating again. Teams rarely take hidings twice in a row.

    Pope (button)

Van Dijk, Lascelles, Lundstram, Mings, Kelly

Sterling, Salah, Cantwell, Mount, Douglas Luiz

    Aguero, Abraham, Jiminez

    --

Thinking of dumping aguero, sterling and mount for Vardy, De Bruyne and Mane

    Good idea or reactionary?

    Reactionary, very very reactionary.

Mount and Mane haven't even played

Is there another defender called Maguire that doesn't play for Man Utd who can't keep CS?

Looking increasingly like a week with an early move in it

    Aguero and Hayden to either
    A) Sterling, Connolly
    B) Silva, Vardy

Good run coming up, and they actually have the best defensive stats in the league in terms of expected goals conceded

    All that planning for nothing

stats can be use anyway you like, for instance they have played 9 games, they have conceded 9 goals - so on average they concede a goal a game. Not exactly a reason to buy a defender.

I can see the reasoning, they won't concede many chances and clean sheets must be coming.

Noone is keeping clean sheets this season

Fernandinho will be back for next weekend won't he?

    Got Otamendi in GW 7.
4 games and a total of 2 points.

Think it's time to go. Maybe for Soyunco

Agreed that stats can be a guide but can also make you look foolish if you look too much into them.

Not sure if anyone saw the f365 article last week where they said the stats show Leicester are not a very good attacking team - then they go and score 9!

Aguero is a conundrum for owners ahead of Southampton...he surely won't be dropped 3 games in a row... but longer term, he will have to go, seems like pep is intent on giving jesus more games this year...the absolute head wrecker!

Aguero will probably play in the League Cup during the week. If he does, you couldn’t keep him in good faith. If Jesus starts during the week, then maybe.

I think with Aguero - if you keep him, you put the arm band on someone else, or else you take the risk and can't complaint if you captain him and he gets 5 mins.
