this has to be the worst coverage of a pro world champs
The bbc keep saying the local broadcaster but surely its the bbc making a complete balls of it

According to Eurosport the relay plane is in Doncaster refuelling but there is fog there, mentioned it could be 40 minutes before they can get pictures from the bikes again.

A sprint finish between Bennett, Sagan and Ackermann would be epic

Can't see this one going down as a classic anyway unless we have a spectacular finish. Terrible viewing experience in any case - not like you couldn't predict rain in Yorkshire in late September

In fairness it's not like normal tv where they put they a load of fixed camera's in a stadium and beam out the back of a lorry

This kind of reads like the broadcast is organised by UCI themselves, and BBC are piggybacking on that as a partner: https://www.uci.org/watch-uci-events

Its a pity but the weather is horrendous for live broadcast of mobile cameras. How would you think they should relay live pics from motorbikes? As long as they get the business end of the race it will be good viewing. The final 4km were lost from 2017 Bergen which was worse (imo).

Big Lion of (Ned) Flanders flag there

About 50 in the main peloton.

Esteban Chaves and Carlos Betancur are two riders still in the group which I'm surprised by!
