Got home from the coalface at lunchtime so had a quick cup of tea then went out and did an overview of the garden, tidied away anything with the potential to become airborne in this storm that's forecast.

I hate the threat of a storm. It gets windy enough here because I live on a hill. We have this great, big, beautiful tree at the back of the house that bends scarily close in the wind. Ifevera I agree let's go straight to Friday evening, crack open our favourite tipple and relax.

Finished work for the evening. Weather watching for Thursday, but indoors so shouldn't be cancelled no matter what transpires. Same on Friday. Alternative Transport arrangements in place, but not expecting Ophelia style drama.

Heat on. Chilly out there. A nice striploin steak, with onions, mushrooms and pepper sauce in a while. Chips too. It may be Tuesday, but still room for a beer at the kitchen table.;)
