A good point, but with Riddle, Theory and Dream still there, do they wanna add another person to bring heat to them?

I dunno, dont think they need her or that shes worth the trouble

Well given how much a mark triple h is for the era of wrestling her dad was part of, if he could have he would have signed her full time to nxt outside of the mae young classic and he didn’t so to me that’s telling.

While Hunter may be a mark for the older Flair era, beyond her dad shes nothing to do with that era.

She was getting over in Impact and I reckon he wanted to scoop her up like they do all talent to ensure AEW dont have her.

But if AEW dont want her, then theres no need to scoop her up. Shes not worth the trouble.

If this was the 90's Vince would probably sign her and pair her with Chelsea Green to test both of them. Put the cat amongst the pigeons.

Neither is Charlotte flair and she'd never wanted to wrestle but they signed her to FCW and fair enough it worked out beyond their wildest imaginations but if Charlotte wasn’t Ric flairs daughter she’d have not gotten the push she’s had. She wouldn’t have been a twelve or thirteen time champion and the golden girl.

AEW don’t want her in spite of her dad working there likely because despite getting over in impact she was hassle and there was the whole belt mess.

But she was Flairs daughter, a household name...Blanchard wasnt. Much more value in Flair name than Blanchard.

Blanchard was never a big name in WWE unlike Flair.

Blanchard, whether racist or not, appears to be a huge bully. Ive not much sympathy with so many peers from all walks of wrestling saying the same thing.

It say a lot about her personality more than her wrestling ability that her father is in a major talent position in AEW and they have no interest bringing her in hoping with her father there she might behave.

AEW seem to have a very happy and pulling in the same direction locker room that they won’t risk bringing her in.

100 percent, AEW appears to have a happy work environment and they dont want any negativity. They didnt waste time ****canning Jimmy Havoc once the backlash against him gathered pace.

    Neither company needs Tessa.

AEW are still in there infancy and they appear to be giving fans zero reason to call them a scumbag company, something WWE was/is forever.

    according to Dave Meltzer

Yeah, that story holds as much water as the "Leg slapping is banned" story. Twaddle. Edge looks grand.

Just Meltzer making up stuff to cover up for the fact that, once again, he was wrong.

    Seriously guys...

I think you missed the report in which he said Vince tore up match plans for Mania, including one major match. Obviously the major match was the Edge/Reigns one due to Edge being a complete flop on top post return. The other ones were Miz/Bad Bunny and Asuka/Rhea.

BTW numerous examples in the last 2 weeks of wrestlers avoiding slapping the leg and instead kicking people extremely hard in the head or whiffing. The exceptions have become the leg slaps. Of course, Vince will forget this edict in a few weeks anyway.

Next weeks MLW might have a match of the year contender on it as Tankman goes up against Jacob Fatu for the title.

MLW is the only wrestling I'll go out of my way to catch up on if I miss it.

A good, no nonsense, wrestling show.

His WWE sources ? Just say Bruce Prichard so we can show up his anti meltzer **** on his podcast. Also, plans may change is to cover his hole if what he reports doesn’t actually come to pass.

While Im sure is a certain degree of hedgung his bets / coving his hole, WWE /Vince have a long track record for changing plans over and over and over.

Raw gets rewrites after rewrite on the hours before, plans from say Saturday may be completly gone by Sunday.

What ever Meltzer or anyone reports be be the case at a point in time and changed multiple times before a show airs.

Only saw bits and pieces of him when he was in Lucha Underground & TNA.

He is the current AAA Latin American Championship so it could be part of a co promotion story line that they thinking of bringing him in for.

He doesn't look like a Junior Cert student, so that's always a plus for AEW.

Daga is the definition of a JAG. Totally average and not someone I'd go out of my way to watch

The WWE have signed a major partnership deal with gambling giant Draftkings.

Draftkings now becomes the WWE's gambling gaming partner.

Gamble Game for free on DraftKings.

No surprise, she's been working with them in the past and it seems that she was more interested in that and WWE were ready to show her the door anyway. Seems it worked out best for both sides.

She did a great job in her tenure at WWE in my opinion, best of luck to her.

Any update on what happened backstage with her?

  • Registered Users Posts: 60,434 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Charly was a total pro on screen and no surprise she has moved on to bigger and better things.

Charly & Renee do really well for themselves outside of the WWE.

    Time-keeping issues, supposedly...
According to Sapp, Caruso is dealing with heat backstage after arriving late for interviews intended for Monday Night Raw. "Specific instances with Randy Orton and Sheamus" were cited as the cause of her absence.

Probably knew the ESPN gig was in the bag and wasn't arsed, which is fair enough.

Andrade had a live interview last night our time which had some interesting bits of info which lead to Charlotte having to release a statement denying she was pregnant. Typical pro wrestling stuff sure.

  • Registered Users Posts: 60,434 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Andrade said he was earning 3 million a year and to be fair that is some chuck of money to give up.

It would make you wonder what Charlotte is on when a guy who was at most a mid card talent to the WWE was getting 3 million a year.
