    Moura->Siggy gw2?

that is indeed the other option.

i think i'm risking no Spurs.

i can't quite get off Siggy currently, even though I have a niggle that Moura is going to get a 15/16 pointer in GW1.

Everton's better run is swinging it for me.

    Yeah Moura could explode.

I want Kane in long term but think that Moura might be a better game 1 option

I've had Moura in every draft I've made and dropped him today to fit Kane in. Time will tell if that was a good or bad choice.

    Zaha available for selection !!!!

So Vvd and Cathcart Norwood rotation
Or pair of 4.5 rotating and zaha

Think i'm finally settling on this but still unsure on which keeper to go with - Might go with Kepa instead of Foster and start him? Thoughts please :)

    3-5-2 or 3-4-3

    McCarthy / Foster
Montoya Mee Van Dijk Coleman Lascelles
    Grealish Salah Mane BSilva Jorgino
    King Vardy Ings

Need to stop tinkering at this:

    Button (Pope)
Van Dijk - AWB - Zinchenko (Dunk - Lascelles)
    Dendoncker - Sterling - Salah (C) - Fraser - Perez
    Kane - King (Greenwood)

Have Kane in despite his August curse but more so to make sure I can have a bit of flexibility

Yeah I keep getting tempted by it. The big plus of Kane is with three premiums you have way more flexibility to go anywhere

    I Have -

    Schmeichel (Stekelenburg)

    VVD Robertson Zinchenko Montoya (Lundstram)

    Sterling Salah DeBruyne Hojbjerg Dendoncker

    Auba (Wickham) (Greenwood)

    Happy enough but . . .

1: - not a massive fan of 4-5-1 formation but will play it because

2: - my bench is very weak (and not guaranteed starters)

    Any comments would be welcome . . . .

Like this a lot. Would prefer a better keeper but the money isint there

An option would be to go with an Ederson/Button combo (I had this in earlier drafts) and downgrade Laporte to a 5.5 or lower. Food for thought.

    Avoid Zaha.

    Head all over the place.

Palace have strengthened (if you could call it that) in the two areas where they were fine, huge glaring holes in the squad. Think they are in massive trouble.

Finally settled on my team and i'm happy. Would have liked to squeeze TAA or Robertson into my team from the start, but have a feeling Liverpool will concede a few in the opening games, albeit still win.

Keepers: Pope (Burnley) and Gunn (Soton) (will interchange most weeks)

Defenders: Dunk (Brighton), Zinchenko (Man City), Walker-Peters (Spurs), Cathcart (Watford), Lundstram (Sheff Utd)

Midfield: Salah (Liverpool), Sterling (Man City), Martial (Man Utd), Ayoze Perez (Leicester), Robinson (Sheff Utd)

Strikers: Kane (Spurs), Jimenez (Wolves), Greenwood (Man Utd)

    Team for this week

    Pope

    Walker-Peters, Cathcart, Zinchenko

    Salah, Sterling, Martial, Robinson, Perez

    Kane, Jimenez

    Subs: Gunn, Dunk, Lunstram, Greenwood

Very happy with that, hoping for a big scoring midfield this year

    Some changes

    GK Kepa
    Def Robertson, VVD, Duffy, Coleman
Mid Zaha, Salah, Bernardo Silva, Wilson
    For Vardy, Jimenez

    Subs Heaton, Deeney, Ake, Choudhury

    ******

looking like this will be my team, although could change before tonight

    Ryan, Heaton
    Maguire, Otmandi, Zouma, Bednarek, Lundstram
    Sterling, Siggy, Milivojevic, Wijnaldum, Stephens
    Kane, Auba, King

Obv no Salah - but i'm not Sold that he will hit the ground running - if he does will down grade Auba/Kane.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,589 ✭✭✭✭Necronomicon

Barring a panic I think this is how I'm lining up. Feels a bit templatey, but it's the best I can come up with. Feels strange starting with 4-4-2:

    Pope/Heaton
    Dunk VVD Zinchenko Zouma (Lundstrum)
    Salah Sterling Barkley Perez (Dendoncker)
    Kane Rashford (Wickham)

    Ryan

    VVD, Robertson, Cahill, AWB

    Siggy, Salah, Barkley, Sterling

    Vardy, Jimenez

    Button Lundstram Dendoncker Greenwood

Thoughts on my team? Already have the Kane fear!!

    So...

    Moura & AWB

    or

    Perez & Laporte

Moura is purely to limit any potential damage done by Kane as I don't have him.

Usually a late Wildcarder aswell (I like saving).

Its not cookie cutter, but bobby has a lot of potential, guaranteed starter in an attacking team.Wilson was devastating last season and jota got 3 assists last night in Europe so he's on form

    I presume you meant it's a 433?
Different as usual and you'll be relying on differential captains when not picking Sterling.

I'd suggest a D somewhere between the two.
Laporte and Ederson is too much spend imo. I'd lose Ed and remember you can keep a bit itb for GW2 flexibility.

Norwich, Southampton, Burnley, Newcaslte and Mustafi/DavidLuiz in his first 5. I wouldn't be able to watch a second of Liverpool without him

Who would you rate the best cheap (£4.5m) GK?

After much thinking this is what I'll go with.

    Pope/Heaton
    Awb taa laporte (Kelly lundstrom)
    Barkley Siggy Salah Bsilva Perez
    Kane Haller (greenwood)

Hoping this will do me for the first few gameweeks until I see how teams settle down.

    A suggestions would be great

Was going to do a last minute change but I'm going to stick

I'm slowly awakening back to FPL but is Pope a definite certain starter (what about Hart?).

You'd put Ryan just behind those 2 or with some significant distance away from those 2?

Heaton seems to be better option looking at the next few games, just a pity the first game is Totenham away. Pope's opening fixture is better, but I stick with Heaton, because don't want to use (or waste more likely) my first free transfer on a goalkeeper.

Whats everyones thinking behind having Button in their team??

    For me
    Pope GW 1
    Heaton GW 2,4 & 5

Thats what i've planned so far
