Verdict? I'm not happy with my attack or my defence tbh, but the only way I can really see a way to make some gains is by shredding my midfield, or weakening my elite players, which I don't want to do... Any cheap gems I've missed?

I could drop Fraser to a 6.5 or a 6.0 (Barkley maybe?) and use that to upgrade Guilbert or Dunk.

I previously had Sterling but dropped him to get in KDB and Bernardo.

Drop Allison to a 4.5 and you free up funds.

Still chopping and changing. Id like to keep Alisson to just forget about the GK spot for the season. Last season, I flipped between 4.5 and 5.0 GKs all season, dropping points all over the shop until I went for a top GK for the last 10 or so games and got far more points. I just kept making mistakes otherwise.

Happier. Would be okay swapping Wan Bissaka or Toby for Digne and a 5.0 but none of the 5.0s are jumping out to me. Also just a bit wary of Jimenez being tired after the Europa but no obvious players to add in without dropping quality I don't think.

Been chopping and changing all day. Think I'm done now. It's a risk omitting Sterling but KDB frees up funds and hopefully should be close to Sterling in points anyway (I hope!!)

Switched Pope out due to him just coming back from injury plus fixtures. Picking Ryan gives me a backup too.

KWP is worth a shot i think. Poch likes him and Aurier is ****. TAA back in over Robertson,just my gut feeling. Ditched Barkley for Trossard, had been considering him and he was bigged up on the Scoutcast. If it doesn't work out , he can be ditched for the best Chelsea mid in GW4. Jota is in despite the EL and fixtures. Subbed early tonight and they won 4-0 so they can rotate for the second leg. Leicester were awful defensively last season and could be even worse without Maguire so can see Wolves scoring.

Let's not mention the bench.

And of course, Montoya is gone. It's gonna hurt when he hits a 15 pointer gwk1.

That’s just rapidly put together. Think I’m fairly set on the defence, Salah and KDB with Kane. Rest is all a guess and hope job

Decided to downgrade Laporte to fit in KDB. Currently on:

Aubameyang, Jota, Deeney

My 3 cheap defenders give me BRI, SOU, WHU, NOR, BUR in the first 5.

Auba will become Kane in GW3 (or downgraded to bring in Sterling) but I think hes the ideal GW2 captain.

Any thoughts?

Pretty much yeah. Plus the fact that most will want two of TAA/VVD/Robbo. You can only have so many premium players before the rest of your team goes to pot completely.




That, and people reckon Kane and/or Auba are better bets as a premium forward.
